I went through a Burger King a couple weeks ago and was certain the greeting was one of those pre-recorded ones. Once the dude responded to me with the same highly polished voice I couldn't believe it. So much so that I felt the need to let him know he had a really nice speaking voice. He kinda laughed and said "Thank you, sir, I've been working on it. Glad to hear it's paying off!". Seemed like a good kid with hopefully a bright future. I appreciate when someone is determined to become the best at whatever it is they do, especially if it's not even something they're passionate about. I'm sure that job and his practicing of speaking more succinct will pay dividends later in life.
I love that he made his situation positive and changed his outlook.

It’s not so much movie trailer . Back in the day idk if it’s still around you could call a number to hear what movies were in theaters and the times and then press a number to pick your movie time etc. That’s the voice he is mimicking. You might be able to google it .
You don't hear *anything* from the microphone of a drive-thru. You hear a voice from the *speaker* of a drive-thru.
But Josh does have a great voice for what he's doing. Best of luck to him!

From my own experience working fast food,it's unbelievable how much your tone effects people ordering. This is awesome and I wish there was more people like working the headset

I’ve been a video producer since 1985. Once I heard a woman take my order at a local McDonald’s and as soon as I got to the window I gave her my studio number and asked to hire her as a narrator. I’ve used her on a few jobs now.

Back when I was 18 and working at Burger King full-time, I developed a calm voice to try to relax customers. One day a local dentist came through the drive-thru, heard my voice, and offered me a job at his office. That was my first step out of the fast-food industry, so never let your situation stop you from trying to improve your life. And this guy's voice should be narrating movies.
