    My family's Horn Construction Company built this project, running a joint venture, "Central Park Constructors"

    IMO, while my comment doesn't pertain to the MTA per se, I think what Central Park is to Manhattan, the Summer Palace is to Beijing. Speaking of Beijing, their equivalent of the MTA, what they call the di-tie (in Anglicized phonics) has at least 1.5x the riders of the MTA. Sorry, MTA, Beijing is now more than double the population of NYC, so it's to be expected that their di-tie has more riders than the MTA.

      Kenneth Kresowaty The whole bus redesign could’ve been done better in my own opinion. I’ve personally seen what the draft looks like for Queens and I’m not pretty happy with it. I’m afraid of what might happen to Brooklyn.

    in July 1971, subway construction was cheap
