On still photography, Samsung is better imo, but I think they should've focused on improving the video quality instead of pushing for higher resolution. I'd rather have better quality 4k video than keep the same quality but have 8k.
Id rather have More Daily basis Feature other than S-Pen, Samsung Dex, 1440p screen and super amoled

I am a Apple guy but I think Samsung has the best camera as per my experience in the market.

Great comparison. I did find it odd in the beginning that the microphone on the S22 was quieter.. All the other camera tests I've watched the S22 is a bit louder and focused better on their voice and getting rid of background noise.
Maybe because he positioned the monopod blocking the mic
For me it plays on the left side of my earbuds. But the Iphone plays on both sides once he switches to the Iphone Mic.

just a tip to those without macro lens but wanted to take macro shots, don't get near to your subject, use an optical zoom instead. Or digital as 1.7x or 2x it look way better than some of macro shots out there.
kinda feels like you just blamed the phone for not being able to auto adjust constantly when you were too lazy to just tap the screen or re-take the shot.
Appreciate your unbiased approach. That left side audio issue is very weird tho. I wonder if they fixed that in an update? Mine doesn't do that. I'm quite impressed with the audio recording.

Every time Samsung releases a new phone, I'm always interested in seeing what video quality there going to put into these new phones. I remember when phones used to record 240p video and now we have 8k video. Also, the stabilization on the S22 is really good and approaching gopro level. Great video!

S22 ultra is a clear winner I guess cause iPhone doesn’t even match that camera hardware which Samsung have in S22 ultra. It will take another decade to Apple to match it as it took for removing notch and coming to bazzal less design.
You are the first guy to have good stabilisation on the s22, nice to see that they updated it I guess.
Both look good, I like the features more on the galaxy. The only reason I´d go with the iPhone is main sensor video recording, Samsung really needs to improve there.
That main sensor on iPhone is so good and large, the natural bokeh and shallow DOF is impressive
@@AuthenTech Yes for sure. The Portrait video on the galaxy also looks interessting, my S10 with that features does it very poorly so great to see it improved. I think both are very solid phones and id rather decide because of the OS than the camera quality
Interesting comparison! Sometimes feel like just a phone is needed for vlogging and in my case, travel vlogging . Maybe I should upgrade my phone 🤔

Nice work you are really unbiased and say what you see w/o sugarcoating anything. Having used both phones personally I kept S22 Ultra as my daily driver but o/c iPhone 13Pro Max is no slouch..

6:32 that's not 3x on the iPhone. It didn't auto switch to the telephoto lense. Maybe because you were recording at 4K60 (no switching lenses while recording) or maybe because it didn't want to switch lenses (I have it and it happens time to time)

Display is arguable because for the iphone you can easily put screen protectors on it, it's cheaper to fix, and apples screens are more durable now
And for size, the Samsung is literally a rectangle I'm your hand and no matter what kind of case you have it always leaves red marks in your hand
You also could have givin apple points for best video, battery life, perfect biometric system, symmetrical bezels, and better gaming performance
Just my thoughts🤷♂️ I'd like to hear your opinion on this as well because I've had both phones and I can confirm apple easily takes all these categories
@@galaxyrockstudio4813 oh yeah I forgot about battery and Face ID that is more secure than Face ID in Samsung but I think fingerprint in Samsung is as safe as in Face ID in iPhone. Battery in iPhone is the king cause I have iPhone 12. I will switch to S23/S24 cause I want to have better zoom and photos 😉 I totally agree with you

I honestly think that the iphone 14 pro max will have very good zoom, probably slightly behind pixel 6 pro I hope, and pixel 6 pro is slightly behind s22ultra's zoom

0:51 the background of the ultra is noticibly blurry, the tree, cars and building behind isn't as clear and i find this really disappointing considering it's a flagship phone. My note 10 has clearer backgrounds

Weird, this is the only video I saw out of all the other comparison videos that the Galaxy S22 Ultra sound so soft as compared to i13P. Still, thank you for the effort. :)
Hi, i bought a V50x and after using it for about two days, i have some questions:
1) The fisheye effect is really annoying, what akaso action camera has less fisheye effect?
2) Is the 170 angle really 170? I found in 2k it's wider...is it normal?
3) Does the GoPro have wider field of view?

I was an android man all the last 11years, but since they don t do so much updates I just let it go this year and hot the iphone 11 ro max. I have to say it s all good, not planing to change soon

looks like S22 leans more on the Manual/Professional Photography and Videography whilst the iphone does most of the work for you on auto. it will come down to preferences i guess.

Ich habe das Galaxy Note 10+5G. Ich dachte so, nach 2 Jahren könnte ja mal ein neues Handy sein. Freude groß, es sollte das s22 Ultra 256GB sein, mit Stift. Handy bestellt..... Leider mußte ich mit Entsetzen feststellen, keinen Speicherkartenslot mehr. In meinem Note 10+ habe ich eine 500Gb Karte installiert. 200 GB belegt. Handy 256GB 55% belegt. Muß feststellen, ohne Speicherkarte geht nicht. ca. 1400€ und dann ohne Speicherkarten Slot, ich fasse es nicht. Das schöne S22 Ultra geht wieder zurück. Ich bleibe bei meinem Note 10+. Was hat sich Samsung dabei gedacht? ich kann es nicht glauben???
Sowas kann man vor dem Kauf checken, jedes aktuelle Handy hat keinen SD Karten Slot mehr, bei Samsung seit dem s21 schon nicht mehr wie bus sagt. Gibts ja Clouds etc mittlerweile, auch wenn es trotzdem ein nices Feature wäre was sicherlich einige Käufer anziehen würde

Few years before, reviewers always say that iphone takes the natural color tone picture and samsung takes the vibrant shots, now the contrary. Also iphone is good but when uploaded to social media it always becomes blurry when zoom in.
If samsung fixes battery like apple did with 13 pro max, then i will come back to android

You can really tell what phone you prefer, when compared to other youtubers they say both are good and samsung wins with photos while iphone wins in videos
Front facing camera s22 has better sound and iPhone 13 has better stabilization.

Great comparations mate, very detailed. Upgrade from S10 Lite to iPhone 13 Pro and I just love it! Phone feels premium and I just love graphite color. I still miss android but superfast camera and smooth system on iPhone is just on another level. No bugs, excelent focusing, fast shot, nothing blur's when I move hand while taking photos, a battery that lasts for two days of heavy use. But who knows, maby i'll go to S22 Ultra one day, or just wait what iPhone 14 Pro has to show, we will see.
What annoys me the most is that there hasn't been anything new in mobile phones for 6 years. Not even a pulse oximeter is built in, which Samsung used to have in its cell phones. Old is sold for new. ., ,.-. ,

I used to be a samsung user for almost 15 years. This time i get the iphone 13 pro. They say that s22 captures better photos than iphone 13 pro. But looking the photos on a actual pc/monitor. You can say which is better. But still. Its user preferences tho. Im happy with my ip13pro

I would like to share my experience. I owe S22 U (exynos) since 2 days but really thinking to return it.. I spend some time to compare a photos and videos of Ultra with my previous s21+. I have to admit that I'm totally disappointed. Everything what is taken with s21+ is sharper and more accurate. Photos from S22 Ultra ale totally blurred on sites, video lack of focus and night time movies are simply terrible, even Xiaomi is making better video at night. But to the point, is it something what can be fixed with software update ? Phone is really beautiful device, specially in green, however again we are in situation Exynos vs Snapdragon and poor people in EU again are exposed to use something what is not even tested properly before being sold....
I'm waiting my exynos version... i'm afraid to see this comment... should i canceled ?
@@zictayprod5561 depends, I still believe that samsung will fix it and tune it. Phone itself is just brilliant 👏 apart of camera quality there is no any small issue. All works smooth without problems. Battery is also OK and phone is still learning behavior of usage which mean that I can expect even improvement after a week of usage.
@@DamianNocun I just see a video compared SD vs exynos 2200 camera. Exynos isn't that bad compared to the SD actually. Exynos got serious problem for GPU part
@@zictayprod5561 I don't think Exynos is bad, not at all. I was really happy with the 2100 in my s21+, however if you compare photography and videos, snap one are in better quality for sure. From perspective of phone operations I can not say bad word on exynos.
