When you post a video and you use an external app to add the captions, does the algorithm pick up that there’s captions in the video in order to help drive it in front of more people? Or is it better if you’re actually using the apps services?
So when possible any app (Instagram, TikTok, FB etc) ALWAYS prefers when you use their own captions. But other captions are still detected if you use an outside source or app.
On this video, everything you are saying are the captions, do you have to type those all out, or is it voice recognition? If it is recognition, do you need to go back in and make sure it types what you said?
@@KatieLance thank you. I follow you but have not signed up for your academy, sorry. I’m going to see how the next few months go and then maybe will be in a position to join. However, I did recommend you to a friend and she signed up for your academy!
To find Advanced Settings: Open Instagram and log in to your Instagram account from the desktop or Instagram mobile app. On your profile page, go to the upper right corner of the screen and tap settings. Among settings, you will see Advanced Settings, and here it is!
When you are uploading or creating a FB Reel you can click a button to turn captions on. Also, you can use Captions.AI for captions and then upload to FB!
There are actually a couple of different ways to add captions to short-form videos! Are you adding captions? Comment below!
So Facebook doesn’t have it? Or at least on my business page

It's transcribed from your voice so you don't have to manually type them out. You can tap on the captions on screen to edit them if needed.

I didnt see a captions option on my facebook
Unfortunately captions aren’t available to everyone on FB. You may want to use a 3rd party app to add them like in InShot or Captions app
@@KatieLance thank you!
You didn’t tell us how to do it on Facebook
