Thank you! Been trying to figure this out. This video really helped me out. I had a hard time with the text editing for the captions as I think Adobe has moved some stuff around and changed things since you created this video, but I was able to make it work for me.

Mad respect for everyone that is a content creator. This looks so tedious. Ive always wanted to be a creator but dread the editing. I watch videos but thats about it. It seems complicated to me and discouraging.
Yes editing is a very critical process. But one has to have passion. Otherwise it becomes a burden. There are many other online tools you can try. I am a professional premiere pro editor but still use many online tools as well.
Editing is the bane of my existence and makes me question all my life choices 😅

Not sure if it’s been done yet, but I’d love a video like this but for uploading to Facebook. It seems like Facebook prefers shorter content and more edited down videos 🤔
The video I needed! I was trying to figure this out in the last week
Great stuff - you can also bring in the entire 16-9 sequence into the vertical timeline, and do your trimming there. Saves a little time copying and pasting from one to the other.
To upload for windows: I usually put it on an SD card and then use a SD to lightning adapter.. the faster the card the faster the import export from PC to card and card to camera roll though "files".

That auto transcribe and text style save is HUGE. I spend so much time custom making my captioned text. Does anyone know if there's a workaround for this on iMovie or Final Cut Pro?

You have to already know how to edit, in Adobe Premiere Pro in order to follow along, a number of smaller details were excluded.
All in all, thanks for the concepts of how this can be accomplished.
Quick PC tip for people who can’t airdrop
There’s a VLC app where you can share from your phone to PC and vice versa through a “share through WiFi” setting.

Omar this is a timely video. One of the take aways from GWVL a couple of weeks ago is repurposing content to get more value out of created video. Being able to create vertical video was one of the items on my plan. With my latest video recording I am position the camera using 4k video to make it easier to create a vertical video. I am also looking at crafting the video to support the repurposing with natural 45 to 90 second messages in the video. Your training makes planning video creation mire effective to get greater value from the effort.

There is an effect called auto re-frame which is quite good when it comes to adjusting the vertical video to fit into the frame instead of scaling it .....
Is this on capcut or davinci resolve?

If your video can be square, make it square (eg 1080x1080) and not vertical with blurry duplicate background or whatnot. It will translate into shorts feed and will look glorious on SmartTVs.
