- I think Titan Lost has been the most requested one out of all the bosses in the game.
I just hope this came out well enough? Tbh I'm rather worried this didn't live up to expectations but as long as you guys like it, I'm happy.

Initially I was going to upload a Metal Gear Rising video, however seen as so many people have been wanting Titan Lost, I felt like I'd be doing a disservice by not focusing on this instead.

iirc there were always 2 versions of the fight themes in MGR, different lyrics
That's because its Locked and Loaded, not actually Rules of Nature
MGR is still has the perfect OST to fight the sun.

Clive is probably the most badass protagonist to come out off Japan recently
I feel like I say that every year tbh -- they just always make some amazing characters
and one of the more, if not THE most, badass FF protags in general.
I'm just saying, you don't see Cloud splitting a mountain-sized enemy in two with their own tentacle thing.

NGL. While he's clearly doing his best to take advantage of his size...it _really_ feels like Titan Lost is more a danger to himself than Clive is. XD
You could argue that his addiction to power is slowly destroying him, more so than Clive could ever accomplish. Titan battle or not.
Now we know that PlatinumGames helped on this segment and this makes sense as hell.
when I first heard that Platinum was assisting with the game, I got suuuper excited. The excitement paid off x)
Very nice. Loved the use of both versions of rules of nature, the beta versions of some of the tracks are really underrated.
Sly Shinobi mixed both versions of A Stranger I Remain and gave us the only boss theme with two verses. It's awesome.
I was expecting this to be try hard as shit but holy hell it’s thematically perfect and syncs so well, kudos man!
The fact that I got Phoenix Wright's seal of approval makes me happy
Right up there with Bahamut as one of the most badass fights of the game!
I don't play the game but this game gets an S tier just for the Rider Kick at 20:24.

Probably putting my tin foil hat on a bit too much here, but these song choices are particularly good just for the meaning behind them.
Hot Wind Blowing is really poignant with Kupka's past as a common soldier, almost a reflection of the man he was before his life was upended by Titan and then Clive.
Whereas Rules of Nature highlights what they are now, two men becoming beasts to take revenge upon each other.
I dunno, coming up with shit like this is how you get good literature grades, what can I say? lol.
Even with no vocals, I can still hear them.

I freaking love this game so much this is 100% my favourite game of 2023 this game has one of the best soundtrack in one of the best boss fights I've ever seen any video game since this is the game I put the most time into this whole year everything that came out I played this game for over 143 hours and got it's platinum trophy can't wait for the DLC to come out next year this is in my opinion probably the best boss fight in the whole game the main soundtrack was pretty badass not gonna lie but rules of nature goes really good with this boss fight keep up the good work dude❤
Titan was my favorite fight as well actually! really love that it has different unique tracks for each phase if I recall correctly

If you do any more of these, I would recommend setting the resolution of your captures on the PS5 to 4K and then downscaling them for the edited video since the bitrate gets destroyed :D

It absolutely kills me how Clive is like "If you can do it so can I" and it just works out for him every time. Like dude I don't think a fire eikon should be getting stone arms after absorbing aether just cause _the literal earth eikon can_ but go ahead and try I guess?? It's cool but it doesnt make sense lol. Imagine if Ifrit started spitting ice just because he watched Jill throwing ice spears
Well, when you really think about it, it makes perfect sense since Clive can absorb the power of the other eikons. He is literally called Ultima Mythos at one point or another, iirc (please correct me, I haven't played in quite a bit), and it wouldn't be too farfetched of an idea that with a strong enough/plentiful source of power connected to a certain element that he could use more abilities connected to the appropriate eikon as Ifrit.

this might just be me, but at 8:11 it looks almost like Titan is having a 'moment' of sorts before biting into the piece of the Mother Crystal.

Did you notice that titan losts head is the exact same as ultimas final boss fight with his golden armour

@fermyon yep it's the exact same design meaning when titan consumed the Crystal ultima inhabited his body and possessed him
As the crystals and eikons are all extensions of him so he can control all of them like garuda titan and ifrit in that one scene were he attacked Joshua in clives early life the only reason he can do this is that the other dominants have weak consciousness or weak minds meaning he can inhabit them easily the only reason clive was mind controlled that one time was because of his distress of Joshua becoming rhe phoenix and he can't do it now because of his strong will or consciousness which he tries to break the entire rest of the game

@@fermyonds15 is the closest that any of them come to this style of gameplay and you can see the inspiration/ground work that the 15 combat laid down being used as stepping stones for how 16 plays.

can someone explain to me simply on why the protagonist is killing the ultimate summonings?
He is basically absorbing their powers. Not necessarily in this video tho. The Titan guy's an asshole and he (Ifrit) wanted revenge

A bit of both. Absorbs the power from the dominants (the guys who actually transform into the summons) and then also kills a couple of them. I believe he only killed two though (Garuda and Titan) not gonna go into more details since I don't want to spoil too much x)
@fermyon I think it's more of the traditional FF where the summons don't really die but are instead sent back to their plane

Not anything AI related actually -- I just had the game recorded while the music was muted via the settings, and then I added and edited the Metal Gear Rising tracks on top of the music-less footage
Just replace "Priming" with "Morbing" and it will be even better.

Yeah it's true if he wants to maintain further distance, he can easily extend those arms far away.
But I assume Titan wanted to maintain a closer distance in order kill Ifrit. Might this be accurate or have I missed out a whole lot?
Considering he was at a point where he couldn't talk anymore I doubt his mind was all there outside of instincts to hit things.
I haven't played the game, but the dude doesn't exactly look to be in his right mind.
@@williamgeorge3111 Nope. The beginning cinematic of the Titan fight had Kupka having his mind just getting fucked with. The real Clive wanted nothing to do with Benedikta (especially after she fucked with his dog), but that hallucination did a number on Kupka's mind.
