    I would have a suggestion for the ficus if I may. Move it to a larger pot for the next summer and let it grow freely. Then prune it back hard at the end of summer, maybe back to what it is now. With all that new growth both above and below ground it will gain a lot of vigor that will make new shoots sprout all over after hard prunung. And there's a big chance you will get something to use as a new apex.
    Nice updates, everything is growing well.

    Give your Jerusalem's a chance. Probably just having a nice winters nap. My mini Pom slept for 6 months and then decided to wake up when summer was almost over with. Sometimes they just need a rest.

      Thanks Tom, I'll probably keep them till next fall, I don't give up easily 😄

    A great looking twisty tree J! My Jerusalem Thorns aren't doing much either, I don't think they are used to seeing winter!

    Happy 2022 J! Can't wait to see what your past growing year has produced. Your plants look so comfortable while mine are shivering in the cold lol! Absolutely amazing trunk and bark on your tiger bark ficus - look forward to spring updates!!

      Thanks Todd, the bullhorn acacia's have grown a fair bit also, they certainly don't mind the cooler temps and under lights.

      @@BonsaiJCan They can even take a light freeze, but I wouldn't push it to low. But buddy's of mine north of me say they do well in Gainesville Florida.

      Thanks Jered! I think the Delonix is having a rest right now, well I hope so anyway as it's quite growing. 😄 I will be repoting it late this spring after it comes back again.

    That’s a nice little cutting you got from that! Also I hear you about having the time to watch all the videos from everyone. I can’t keep up too. It’s annoying. But there isn’t enough enough time in the day.

    Hi BonsaiJ, Very nice movement in the tree! Do you grow mostly indoors?

    • @BonsaiJCan
      @BonsaiJCan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Christopher. I mainly grow tropicals, so they are indoors from roughly middle of September to may 20th and outdoors the remaining months.
