This. Is. Awesome. I struggled making my first one for my daughter’s Harley Quinn pageant outfit, but this video made it so much easier. Going to be making another one very soon. Only thing I had to do was make be able to break down so mine has a removable handle. Again this video is awesome
Wondering if a cuticle remover tool would be easier to use rather than an exacto knife...when scoring the foam. Edit to add i am involved in a witch dance troupe that raises money for animal organizations... and will be dancing at a rock oddities in about 9 days. So perfect time to whip out my steampunk Harley Quinn costume... with the addition of a witch hat (with tails)... but my brain is debating normal broom vs making her mallet with bundled straw look. Not used this foam previously... so that leads me to wonder. 1.. can it be made in that time? 2 can the foam be scored that much to resemble straw (while still being a solid sheet). And just paint it more in straw tan and brown tones, and used a cord wrap instead of metal look for the binding. Then of course 3...look wise would it be too strange? Or would people get the concept.
