Nice review man, keep it up. Btw, is this montero’s ride (handling, comfort, and maneuverability) really close to that of the gen3 Santa Fe?
Eugene Lanuza hi appreciate that ! in terms of the diesel engine being quite yes pretty good for a body on frame suv . but the santa fe no doubt a better ride because of its car based frame. if you dont need to go off road or high ground clearance id pick the santa fe and its brother the kia sorento for sure
Nice review, Akala ko si Basil yun nag ka-camera man eh hehehe, I have the GLS variant and all I Can say is that, the Monty is a Monster when it comes to long drive and speed. I've been to Bicol and Baguio so many times and had no issue at all.. The only thing that I don't like is its head unit display.. Sometimes it freezes and need to turn the engine off and on to reset and when browsing thru Navigation map it won't follow But overall, Montero Gen3 is a monster.. The smoothness will really come out if you have all seats with passengers..

honestly buy the 2016 model save the money almost the same body ride and engine 😊

Is it normal for monteros to have smoke coming out of the dipstick and oil filler? Also, the amount of pressure (blow by air) from the oil filler is really strong. I’m wondering if your Montero does the exact same thing?
honestly its not normal if the smoke is to much once its hits operating temperature smoke should be minimal :)
@@ArmenianFilipino7, white smoke is minimal but the pressure is too strong- the oil cap doesn’t stay still if I uncapped it and put it on top of the oil filler.

if brand new Id recommend a mazda 2 as a sub compact great car and has 5 years free maintenance cost from mazda. if second hand try to get a car or suv thats around 2 to 3 years old tops. as the vehicle just came out of warranty for sure. ensures that the car has been maintained sa casa. if suv i prefer santa fe over pick up based suvs. ride is much better. you can also pick up a midsize sedan at that price range like a 2016 to 2017 accord or camry. really good ride and engines are good . good value for money for sure.
