My Idol is social media. I keep deleting the apps and installing them. I think for every idol mentioned you could have given maybe a way someone can get out of the addiction. I loved the episode ❤

Money is one idol that doesn't look like an idol but when you get to a place where you can do ANYTHING for it.. including selling your body or soul then it's problematic.. enjoyed the episode 🔥
I read this quote "Christ is either Lord of all, or is not Lord at all."
When you look at idols as anything you put in the place of God and not just the statues and golden calf the Israelites used to make, then it really hits you how many things can be idols.
Also, learning that dethroning the idols is a forever going process. You don't just dethrone once and for all, Jesus said its picking our crosses daily

The Bible also uses the word idol to refer to anything that people rely on for help, guidance, or blessing instead of God.The Bible strongly disapproves of idolatry, and the first of the Ten Commandments is about it. Exodus 20:3-5 says, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below". ♥♥awesome podcast

Everything is from God and belongs to God. He could have decided to give your money to someone else but in His grace, He chose you to be the steward.
This has helped me with money but indeed, it is a work in progress.
Also having an abundance mindset helped. Instead of scarcity mentality.
A day at a time and we eventually we will be free of our idols. Thank you for watching ❤

Tithing is between you and God it's not about the church at which you are tithing at.
Malachi 3:8-10 talks about robbing God by not tithing.
Isaiah 48:17-18 talks about how we disobey God by not following His commands (tithing)
Haggai 1:3-11 Talks about how we our money is never enough, why, because of our selfish ways.
Check on those verses and may you have revelation on that.
