I crashed my 2007 versa at 85ml/h into road-rail, air bag work fine, i am 6.5, absolutely nothing happens to me, cAr was still running but coolant was leaking and transmission stuck on drive)) hood damage, both bumper, 1 rear light and probably front lights ))) car extremely safe but my was basic so no abs no traction and weather was just slightly wet, temperature was +7C, car was on brand new winter Michelin. It was small curve and speed to high, lost control, I shouldn’t press brake because mo abs I should accelerate but mentally it’s hard to do. Sold car for tow guy for $70 🤫😁 drive safe 🙏 Happy New Year 🎄
Thank u i follow your video to hook my versa with fog lights and it dose work when to the junk yard got the part off Nissan rogue and now I got the fog lights put into the car
Sweet video! Thanks for putting up all the interchange info for the switch, I have been trying to find the factory switch for ages at my local junkyard with no luck. Hopefully there is a Rogue with the right bits.
Yeah, no problem. 🤗 I listed all the vehicles with the switches in the description. I based this off of the compatibility listings from the official Nissan and Infiniti parts website. I also found that Nissan Murano headlight and wiper switches fit into the Versa, but it is a different shape. Hopefully that can help you in your search.
Am doing my on a Nissan Sentra I looked at the wiring Diagram it has all the wiring in place so I order fog lights and the switch for the Steering wheel hopefully it’s just Plug-and-play
I recently picked up Nissan Altima 2008 from marketplace. I can see the fog lights installed through the bumper. I don't have any idea if those work or not. In fact I don't even know where the switch/button is to turn them on and check myself. Can you please let me know what I supposed to do? Sorry for my silly question since I have no experience with fog lights before.
Thanks for the video it was very helpful, I have a small question ,I have installed the switch (25540-EE90E) on my 2008 versa but now the auto lights off function is not working (the headlights won’t turn off automatically after I turn the car off), have encountered a problem like that? If yes, have you found a workaround to make it work again?
Thank you so much for this upload! Would it be easier to install the fog light button next to the side mirror control or the complete swap of the combination switch on the wheel? I have a 2012 Versa and would like to have the fog light button instead of removing the combination switch. Just preference :)
The aftermarket setup has a bit more steps and you have to cut through the firewall to put the switch. I also found that the lenses were of inferior quality as they hazed after a few months whereas the used OEM Valeo lenses I bought have zero haze. I would recommend using the pre-existing fog light harness and swapping the combination switch, but it depends on parts availability and your budget. It cost me $13 for each fog light and $5 for the combination switch at my local junkyard. It may cost you upwards of $100 if you purchase online, whereas an aftermarket kit will cost anywhere between $20 and $50.
@@cali_viceversa Thanks for getting back to me! I'll definitely be going with the combination switch for sure. Also, thank you for the heads up on the aftermarket fog lights, I wouldn't have guessed they are worse than the OEM ones. Hope you plan to keep the Versa for a lot longer. Mine just hit 105,000 and I'm going to do a bit of preventative maintenance on it. I'm just waiting for the weather to get a warmer lol. I'm originally from Cali but now I live in a state with all four seasons and it's been snow, snow and more snow lol.
@@NightOwl2022 no problem! I'm back and forth between the central valley and Sacramento, so all the sunshine and heat hasn't been so nice on the paint or electronics and the car gets super hot since it's black. I'm moving to the bay later this year so I'll probably have some relief from that. Hopefully you're not having rust issues. Haha. Anyway good luck on finding parts! Car should last you a long time if you have the 4 or 6 speed transmission.
Hello, i installed the switch and it works great but when I turn on the fog lights the fog light light doesn't turn on in the dash. Does yours light up?
Hey I have a question, i have a 2009 versa hatchback. Would the headlight switch from a 2003-2006 infinity g35 work with my car? They look very similar but I'm not 100% sure. It also has the auto headlight switch, would that affect anything since my car doesn't have that feature?
There was a refresh/facelift for the V35 G series for 2005/2006, so earlier models will not fit even though the shape looks similar. The key difference between the two is that the 2003 and 2004 has the inside color black instead of white. The connector is placed differently on the earlier models, so it does not fit with the clockspring. The item you linked looks like it will fit based on the fact that it is white, but also compare the connector placement with a Versa switch just to be sure. As for the auto function, nothing bad has happened to me with it, I just never put it to that setting. I hope this helps!
Most if not all of these are pre-wired for fog lights and you just need the switch/stalk, fog light assemblies, and bezels (or cut yourself). I think only the 1.6 base doesn't come pre-wired.
My Nissan is a 2008 Versa S it has the factory wiring for fog lights but my light switch doesn’t have fog light option do you think I need to change the light switch or will they turn on when turning on my headlights
You need to have a switch with the fog light feature. Can pick it from many different Nissans, I listed compatible models in the description. $15-20 at junkyard
Do you know which models come with the pre-wired fog light connections? I’ve read forums and some people say they have it, and other say they don’t. Thanks
The facelifted Versas (2010-2012) have the TCS button in that location. If you have a blank, you could just put whatever aftermarket switches you like for accessories.
You only need a fuse and relay for aftermarket fog lights, there is nothing to add to the factory wiring if your car comes with it. An aftermarket harness already comes with a relay, so you would just need to add a fuse tap and and another fuse.

There is lots of them listed on eBay. I just ordered some from an 05-07 infinity g35. I'm hoping it works correctly

Have you ever done a Sentra fog light switch. And do you have a video available
Does the auto headlights feature work? Or what needs to be done?
Very helpful! Thank you!

That's great to hear! There's no light for the fog lights on the dash, nor is there one for low beams.

I doubt you're still monitoring these comments, but what if my car doesn't have the option, but there are the cutouts on the bumper?

If your Versa has the power package, it does. I don't know if the other 1.8 Versas have it, but the 1.6 base sedan definitely does not.
@@cali_viceversa I have an 09 Versa 1.8 SL and they do not have factory foglights

The facelifted Versas (2010-2012) have the TCS button in that location. If you have a blank, you could just put whatever aftermarket switches you like for accessories.
Did you have to put in a fuse/relay or it was already in place rom factory?

@@cali_viceversa your next mode, try eliminating your rear wiper and put up a camera. You will need a 2din stereo that supports video I think.
