To remove the plastic silver "c" clip around the door handle (the "c" clip is horse shape) slip a knife under the upper arm of the horse shoe just above the "red" lock indicator and lift up toward the window. The clip will pop right off. Do not pull outward. That will break the retaining clip off.
Thank you for this video! Had to use it in the oddest way…replacing the outer door handle. The clips holding the framework on the inside obliterated so I had to hold it in place while kid got new handle snapped into place from outside. Only broke 1 clip on C/horseshoe piece so I’ll call that a win

For the C gray part you push the left from the outside, the push it from the inside the upper and the lower, that way you avoid breaking it, to unplug the cables push the center of the connector with the same flat screwdriver.
For the c shaped part around the handle what I did was pull the handle like you do when opening door and the start at the top and once you have the first 2 clips let the handle go and itbshould pop right off

The silver clip around the handle. Pop it off from the inside, between the the clip and the handle.if you do it from the top or under it will break the clip like the guy in the video
Removing the "C" trim piece is easy, does not take much force. Just gotta open up the "C" just a bit. From the open side of the C stick a flathead screwdriver between the end of the C and the handle and gently pry to open the C. The retaining clips this guy broke will release. Not much pressure at all.
To remove the plastic ring around the door handle without breaking it do not pry up. Use a very small long flat head screw driver to get behind the clip and push it outward. Once the first one is off the others come off fairly easy.
To remove the chrome piece around the inside door handle take a flat screwdriver and slide it in on the top and then slide it in on the bottom and it will unlock the clips without breaking it
