    No way!
    I tried so hard on this weeks "mazda vision" Nordschleife time trial and just by putting up the riding height 10mm, i shreeded my record by 0,7sec effortlessly.
    Car handles way smoother and has more grip while turning in. Thank you!

      For nordschleife you always need to put ride height higher. The track is bumpy af

    Here are some rules that I follow:
    On N-class cars, a higher suspension is usually better. However, N900 and N1000 cars may not follow this rule. A higher frequency is better on almost every N-class car.
    On Gr. class cars, a lower suspension is usually better. I haven’t found any outliers to this yet. A higher frequency is better on almost every Gr. class car.

    Thanks! I figured "natural frequency" would actually have little or no effect on driving in the game. A placebo effect maybe? Ride height is important as you illustrate. The cars which understeer or oversteer can be slightly improved but not in BOP Sport races... Yet.
    Thanks again!

    • @valtsvilcans6776
      @valtsvilcans6776  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      gearmeister I found out that frequency does smth with cars stability, but not in the way I expected. At the moment its play and learn thing. They had Bop off in the beginning, thats why I stsrted this series, sadly now Bop is always on in daily races, but it will be off in solo campaign, when it will come out in december

    • @gearmeister
      @gearmeister 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      WhatIsThisPS Gaming Sounds great. Yes, will really be anticipating your findings. Yes BOP was off. Lots of players not playing until they allow tuning again

    • @valtsvilcans6776
      @valtsvilcans6776  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      but they had to because of people that didnt tune, to give them opportunity to win as well. The best would be a seperate section for tuners

    • @gearmeister
      @gearmeister 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      WhatIsThisPS Gaming I know. It's great however for people to learn about tuning. If this game simulated real tuning, it would have tire pressure, but it's my favorite racing game.

    • @PaxSierra
      @PaxSierra 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      gearmeister I found upping natural frequency DOES have an effect, most pronounced on older cars with loose feeling suspension. Gave a much firmer feeling ride.

    What is important to know is that the Toe Angle in all the cars is set wrong from the get go.This is sad commentry because no one tells you this in these videos and those who know keep it as a big secret. Which is unfortunate.The Toe angle in all the cars are setup for a front wheel drive car so you need to switch around the Toe Angle.The Front should be Toe In and the Rear should be Toe Out.As for Ride Height if the Rear is greater than the Front the car will rotate around a corner better.If the Front is greater than the Rear the car will rotate around the corner less.For the Springs now when you make the Front springs Stiffer you increase understeer and Softer you Decrease understeer.Rear springs when you make them Stiffer you Increase over steer and when you make them Softer you Decrease oversteer.Anti Roll Bars Front Stiffer will Increase understeer and Softer will Decrease understeer.Rear Anti Roll Bars Stiffer will Increase oversteer and Softer will Decrease oversteer.
