  • Quasi Recovery. What is it? I’ve come to define it as a “limbo” between fully letting go of your eating disorder, and embracing all recovery has to offer. I now realize that I have been stuck in this “limbo” for a while now, and it’s time I break through and start moving forward. This means fully tackling recovery hands on and I’m scared, but I know that the universe is guiding us all as we take the risks to achieve the abundance that we deserve. You are not alone in this struggle.

I am in a very similar situation, actually committing to recovery and it’s hard and there are a lot of expectations from other people and mainly myself “to become better” but I know I am gonna give it my best. So happy to be with you in this journey ☺️💕

Earthling Vasia you are going to get through this! It can be so hard not to give in to other people expectations and going against diet culture but we are all so much more than that label! You can do this! ♥️♥️♥️

Your perspective seems very mature right now and it's so wonderful to see! Being a freshman in college right now, I can absolutely verify that college WILL NOT work with an eating disorder. I'm so happy that now I trust myself enough to be committed to my recovery and eating and resting when I know I need to. I actually live alone in my dorm too, but I truly think that I am the healthiest now that I have ever been. If anything, giving up some control with my food in college (because of dining halls, etc.), has made me stronger in my recovery. YOU CAN DO THIS! It's worth it!
