Tony Robbins coaches Preet and Kevin back to being Strong and Smiling Together

  • Preet and Kevin have been married for 15 years. When they attended Tony’s event, Kevin had already spent the past 8 months truly improving himself as a person, as a father, and as a husband to Preet.
    Even Preet acknowledged this when she raised her hand to speak to Tony.
    But no matter how much Kevin had changed, Preet couldn’t seem to let go of the past. She couldn’t release how Kevin used to be in their marriage, especially in his relentless pursuit to make money.
    She had asked Tony how she could let go of this resentment. She was trying to understand why, even as Kevin had changed, she was still focused on criticizing him.
    Tony helped them zoom in on the reason she was this way-and most importantly, how they could both change for the better.
    By the end of the intervention, Preet and Kevin had promised to take better care of each other in this new chapter of their marriage.

    Every tume i see these masculine/feminine interventions it melts me... and i believe this is the most important message in this world at the moment, the solution to so many of the problems we're seeing, from the smallest to the largest scale. Thank you Tony for opening me up to be able to hear it.

    This live intervention has profoundly affected me, altering the core of my being. In Hindi, the beautiful language of India, he declared, 'Main Sher hoon,' which translates to 'I am a lion.' Imagine someone who has transformed from being a people pleaser to truly embodying the spirit of a lion - a Sher. he now is commited to protect, love but while still remaining centered in his authentic self. This transformation is truly beautiful."

    How can I learn this specific skill-set (relationship coaching)? This is my dream but Tony seems to have a lake of knowledge about masculine/feminine dynamics that is so vast I feel like I'll never learn enough to be able to be a coach in this space and that feeling is overwhelmingly crushing.

    Kevin and Preet still have a journey. Preet is still holding back, you could see she was nearing the precipice of change and was afraid to step over. Kevin has his work cut out for him, at the end when Tony was teasing out a commitment from Preet the pleaser in him returned to remove the pressure Preet was feeling. Since this video was about the shift Kevin made and that shift was genuine this video works, but I'd put money on it that over the course of this event Tony worked with both of them to anchor the Lion in Kevin and tease a breakthrough out of Preet.

    I was thinking the fist in the chest was the power that Tony was punching into him, then I got it. It was dude pushing back, fiercly. That was the manhood. I hate that this world teaches that manliness is bad “evil patriarchy” bs. That’s how we have become such a weak country. On purpose. The only problem with manliness can be when they are untrustworthy. A man should be as just, as he is strong.
    This was powerful for me. Makes me want to be a good woman.

      Interesting given all the harm that toxic masculinity causes. Hard sometimes to find and maintain that balance.

    • @TheOriginalNiceGuy
      @TheOriginalNiceGuy ปีที่แล้ว

      Your attitude is bad. Just replace “ masculinity” with “femininity” in all your terms and thinking, then perhaps you’ll see the error of your ways.

    • @bananamanchester4156
      @bananamanchester4156 ปีที่แล้ว

      People conflate "maculinity" with "toxic masculinity" and get the two confused. I understand why, the difference between them can be subtle. Toxic masculinity comes from a place of insecurity. It's all about projecting an idea of strength to the world and maintaining that image at all costs, even if it means lying, bullying, being unfair and abusing others. True strength is being able to do what Kevin does here- feel the anger and the pain of being hit, not backing down, and feeling tenderness and love for his wife at the same time. The anger doesn't cancel out the love and vice versa.
      Unfortunately it's the loud and harmful bullies who rise to the top in most places because they know how to manipulate others, and they know who they can walk over. They create a toxic atmosphere around them and expect compliance from others. Let's take Andrew Tate as an example- he has a massive cult following of young men who view him as a paragon of masculinity. But what kind of a man would willingly manipulate women into s*x work so he can profit off them? Also, if he and Tony were in a room together, Tony would have him sobbing in less than 10 minutes, guaranteed.
      Tony isn't perfect either. I think he has some pretty regressive views towards women because he seems to view then as wilfully manipulative. However I think women have been conditioned to be that way- it isn't encouraged for women to speak up and be honest with their feelings. I'll give him credit that he seems to be challenging his own views, he's started talking about "masculine energy" and "feminine energy" instead of "men and women" so I'll give him credit for that.
