Danny yeah it’s used on vinyl, rubber and plastic to UV protect and for like a month helps dust not stick and it’s not greasy at all with a really nice matte finish (use it on black parts it looks amazing)
I use griots black shine spray tire shine. It’s absolutely the best and longest lasting tire shine. I can put it on my tires and it will last a month through rain and all. I’ve also had customers ask me how the tires stayed clean so long.
I enjoy watching your videos I’ve been taking so many notes and buy products and toold you use... im starting my own detail business and I’ve gathered all my information from you thank you

I can't wait for the list of top ten essentials to start Detailing business. I came across your videos right after I had a wake up call one day and decided to help people detail their car.
Pick a company name, make business cards, start with friends and family. I’m getting my cards in the mail tomorrow. Have 4 appointments booked this month for just family and have more people asking for an appointment.
Hey, it is great that you are using our Polish brand - Work Stuff. But let me tell ya - they are way overpriced over the big pond. Quick example - the 40 mm one, with classic hair, around here cost about 24.90 PLN which is like 6.50 USD. On the site you linked it is listed for 17.95 USD.
Sun Joe user here 2 years plus, bought the Twinkle adapters (Sun Joe uses Euro threads; M22 eg, do your homework!) for quick release Gun, two SJoe 25ft non-kink Hoses for 50ft (stock hose isn’t up to much), QRelease for the garden hose too. No regrets
Wow, you do excellent work, Luke! Recently ran across your channel as I was searching for products/procedures to detail my own new vehicle at a bit higher level than I've done with past cars. Very good info here that gives me something to go on. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Luke, one the reasons the turtle wax ceramic spray is great is because you can actually use it in the sunlight, the official turtle wax company has confirmed it. I think max temp is around 140 degrees which is very high
Great videos!! You're now my second favorite detailing TH-camr, behind Pan. Are all of these products environmentally safe? I can just hear people in my neighborhood reaming me out if they saw soap foam running down the street ;)
Thank you! I really needed this video. I am doing my research on best and most efficient tools and supplies for auto detailing. I'm about to start this as a side hustle. Just subscribed, I'm grateful for you!
I've done rinseless washing and I've also done coin wash (as needed). I typically don't do coin wash as I'd rather not have to drive client's car. Those cases it was a friend/client
Great video once again. I wanted your opinion on weather there is a difference between a normal led flash light and a paint correction light to find paint defects. Thank you
Hey Luke, any way one day you could make a video of your car and your mobile set up? The reason I'm asking is I know you don't have a van, and work from a sedan. With that said most newbie detailers are going out in a car and your insight on how you load your car might be helpful?
I got a very similar wash mit like the microfiber madness one. I got a wash mit and microfiber wash pad from the rag company for $25 and they r very nice
Luke, you should look into getting a longer pressure washer hose with quick disconnects. A 50 ft hose makes it so that you don’t have to move the pressure washer at all during the detail
You didn't work them fast enough you brought the top protective layer of the coding I highly doubt it's reversible other than you might be able to use a Polish and buff it out with a cone buffer for the rims
How come you got rid of the Gary dean method with multiple towels I felt like you were a heavy advocate for that method as I’ve seen you have mainly used 2 bucket method now?
I’m currently using the turtle wax spray ceramic but I don’t really like using it. I was thinking of switching using bead maker instead. Do you think this is smart? Also, should I get the meguiars x-press spray wax and there detail spray? If so, when would I use each?
do you re-use the wash mit for other cars for example in the same day right after you finish 1 car you go to car 2 and 3 and use the same wash mit or do you have several clean ones on the ready?
I just got a new car and watch these videos so I I can learn how to keep my car in great condition. I’ve already bought a couple products you’ve recommended 🙌🏼 Where did you get the shorts your shorts?
how do price your maintenance clients? keep hourly rate the same? or is there a certain package that comes unique with each client? of course meeting specific needs catering to different customers. i know in the long term that seeing a car more often will result in less time spent detailing. thank you luke! youre awesome =D
Thanks for the video! So much content and I’m only half way through. I’m glad to hear you do operate as a mobile wash. I have watched a few videos and it looked like you were at the same place, so I was wondering if you’re mobile or people drop off to you. Awesome.
Microfiber Madness Incredimitt ❤🤩 100% Made in Germany! From the Fiber, sewing, packing and shipping! No starvation wages and no conditions violating human rights like the production in China would be! With this mitt you dont just get a super high quality product, you also help people!
I also use the SunJoe powerwasher. I had an issue with it tripping my electric panel breaker on a 15 amp breaker. I ended up running a new line to my garage with a 20 amp breaker. Problem solved. That must be an issue for Mobil detailing when you use someone else’s electricity.
What do you use to clean the backside of the spokes? I find that the hardest to tackle with a brush. Thanks! Really enjoy your new approach to the buisness side of the detailing world. I will be starting my own buinsess in the near future and this content is pure gold. 👌
You can use microfibers but there are bendy brushes, curved like Adam’s, and some just happen to help a little bit, like the EZ Detail brush and Speedmaster
Hi, the part where you mentioned garden hose attached to the pressure washer, I was wondering if it matters how long the hose is (whether it be 50ft or 100ft) and if it affects the pressure flow at all? Thanks
I'm a professor detailer too and I use a 2100 psi pressure washer with a 50ft pressure washer hose and another 50ft shrinking garden hose as well. I used to use 2 25ft hoses but I'll say that I haven't seen any noticable decrease in pressure because of using longer hoses.
I can help but notice video after video how much product you waste on wheels, tires and wheel wells.. you don’t even agitate the tires. 16oz should get you through all 4 wheels PLUS some not be damn near out of it at the end, that’s just me though lol continue doing you Wilson
I notice when you clean the tires you use the pressure washer instead of a brush. Does the pressure washer clean the tires just as well as scrubbing the tires with a brush?
He uses the pressure washer on these tires because they are so thin and simply just not that dirty. On your bigger and wider tires, I would suggest using a brush.
Hi @Wilson, I have the same pressure washer, I always been using the grey tip, I see you are using the yellow one, I thought that would be too much for the car. Any precautions I should have using that one?
Hey Wilson...what’s the difference from a regular wash and a detailed wash? How do I differ the two? What if I have a customer that don’t want their vehicle clean like every two days but don’t want to spend the detail price
Skull myself and a lot of others are 4+ hours on a full detail, wash, clay, wheels, wells, trim, glass, vac, vents, consoles, all doors, plastics and crevices, mats, seats and floors extraction and pre treat, and protect everything it takes awhile done right and meticulous.
Thing to ask: Why do you after the foam wash go and wash it off with the power washer then get the glove with soap and clean it? When you already have soap on the car before?
Great question, firstly I will say this, over time when you detail hundreds of cars as a mobile detailer you get a little less afraid of water spots just because they are pretty easy to deal with, secondly and more practically speaking, shade is your friend, and big garages cannot be overvalued. Generally speaking all of my customers have one of these two things. The other solution to this is distilled water when appropriate (using rinseless wash methods which I am a big fan of), and of course specific products that will take off surface water spots quickly, renegade has a fantastic water spot removal, and meguiars wheel brightener diluted 10:1 will remove water spots safely from paint, just don't use on GLASS
I feel like I’m watching this in 3X speed because of how fast you talk 😂😂😂😂 “microfibertowels” is one word for you. Great detail tho bro and I appreciate the advice.
Can you not have any tax advantages since you don’t have a license/cert as a detailer? Or you do write everything off at thee end of the year?....please help we need a video regarding the wat to do come tax time thank you!

I really don't understand how any one would "thumbs down" Luke's vids. I learn so much from them. First thing I do is "like" it🤷♂️
hahaha thanks Brian, I appreciate that
There is always that 10%.😂🤣
I would like to see products FOR THE INTERIOR!!
303 aerospace it’s even on amazon, amazing interior spray uv protects and brings back plastic and vinyl from the dead trust me
@@shawnmcquade1259 I agree! I started using it a few months ago and I love it!
Does this give a matt finsh
@@Danny-wu9px It leaves a matte finish that is not greasy like some that have silicone.

You should go over more of the number side of the business, and do annually , like expensive, income profit ext
Very honest man, hate detailers out there introducing only expensive stuff.
Do you charge extra for being mobile or do you charge the same amount if they were to come to your house to get their car detailed
Thanks Luke! Best video you’ve made in a while for me at least. Great seeing what you actually are using. I’d give it two thumbs up if I could.

I want to know what you usually do whenever you have someone who lives in an apartment. Waterless wash? Go to coin wash? take it home?
Mikie Jones I live in a downtown apartment and there are a lot of expensive cars down in the parkade but there’s no good place to wash
I've done rinseless washing and I've also done coin wash (as needed). I typically don't do coin wash as I'd rather not have to drive client's car. Those cases it was a friend/client

Priceless information bro love it , also how much do you charge for your exterior detail package?
You should try out carpro and gyeon detailing products, carpro especially is versatile and extremely effective.

How do you remove acid rain or really bad water spots on windows
I’ve always used a fine steel wool. Don’t use it on trim or paint though.
Do you go through a whole 16 oz of jax wax when cleaning the wheels?
Wasted money and product. All he has to do is spray once on the whole wheel. Instead he sprays, rinse, sprays again and rinse again 🤦🏾♂️😂
I notice when you clean the tires you use the pressure washer instead of a brush. Does the pressure washer clean the tires just as well as scrubbing the tires with a brush?
