  • This walk takes in two of The Grey Corries Munros from Glen Spean. Sgurr Choinnich Mor and Stob Coire an Laoigh are accessed via the top Stob Coire Easain.
    A grey weather day but we were fortunate to hit a clear spell just has we took in the two Munros.

    Another excellent video, thank you. It is a wonder we didn’t bump into each other, as I have just returned home having spent 4 days in Glen Spean. The day you were on the Grey Corries, I was on the Easains above Loch Treig. Like you, I had similar weather. The cloud was in and out but occasionally afforded views. It was very humid. Having watched your video I am keen to get on the Grey Corries. Thanks again for posting it.

    Nice one again C & M. Glad you got some views up there as it’s a special place, the grey Corries has special memories as I got my 1st inversion up there.
    Well done again and look forward to your next outing.

      Hi Frank, I agree, this ridge walk is stunning particularly with a bit of snow on it. We were fortunate to get them clear and a definite bonus on an iffy day. Looking forward to your remain Skye movies now you've had time to pull them together. Cheers, Charlie

    A moody looking day! Some cracking views with all that cloud hanging around Charlie. Another novel route there! Loved this walk when I done it Charlie and great to sit and watch an alternative round. Cheers! Paul

      Hi Paul, We were fortunate in hitting the cloud window at the right time. Enjoyed the day as we had low expectations when leaving the car. Cheers, Charlie.

    I was there yesterday too! Weather ended up better than forecast. I came at them from the other end and did Stob Coire Claurigh first. I did the whole ridge which was stunning when the cloud relented but didn’t make it to the third Munro as I had a long way to go home and it was getting on. Great video. Thanks again Murdo

      Hi Murdo, The day was a pleasant surprise as it was looking iffy in the morning. We had thought of doing more but settled for the two thinking that things were not going to improve through the afternoon. An enjoyable day nonetheless. Cheers, Charlie

      Hi Dave, I agree, the cloud does add atmosphere to any hill but we could have done with a wee bit less to extend the views 😀 Still, the day was a lot better than expected when setting off 👍Cheers, Charlie

    Looked a great day, the clagg playing around the tops,. No rain so perfect. Bet folk in the glens were wondering what are those orange glows in the hills!

    Brilliant video as usual, well done. What is the track like for cars from Coire Choille to the parking spot? It was very rough and uneven a few years ago, wondering whose car we should use, mine or somebody elses?

      @charliemccartney7055  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stephen, The track is quite rough but isn't a big problem providing you take it a low speed. Cheers, Charlie
