I am so happy I found this and your book Dr. Gregory. I have been practicing mindfulness and deep breathing because it helps me with my depression. However, I was always told that it’s not a Christian practice so I prayed to God to help me find something similar that would help me because mindfulness gives me peace and I found your book short after. God is good! I am so happy to have found this video as well. I will continue my search about mindfulness and practice it everyday as a way to get my thoughts aligned with the thoughts God has for me and as a way of prayer. Thank you so much.

Got the book on Kindle and Audible. Have to say....I'm only a few days in, but I can see and have already experienced how mindfulness works in a Christian context. Beautiful. Really recommend his book Catholic Mindfulness for anyone and everyone. God is using this book to help me so much.

Genesis 24:63, Joshua 1:8 , Psalms 1:2..In those days I only used to here the word meditation but when I try to re-read the Holy Bible is when I find out that meditation is also part of Christians. But different from Buddhist and Hinduism .in Hinduism you choose a deity but not so in Christianity.I also discovered what they call Jewish Meditation. Meditation is on the word of God, laws etc...not gods or deities. But the methods are similar. This is just my understanding and I have learned something great from this channel which is an added advantage-bonus . When you combine prayer, fasting, reciting scriptures and meditation it really helps alot.
