Honestly sonic colours is my favourite sonic game because it did so much for the series. I think a lot of people look down on this game because of its short play time and graphics but you have to remember, this game was on the Wii and needed to be ported over to the Ds so it kinda had to be. That's not to say that this game isn't one of the most beautiful games on the Wii but even the most beautiful games ended up lookin kinda sub-par. As for the new additions we got the wisps and brand new voice actors that (in my oppinion) fit the characters perfectly This was also the game that Sega cleaned up their act and got rid of the unnecessary hassles of the previous few games like the warehog and the tedious story of 06 They really tried to make this game as fun as possible with what they had. And as for the more childish story I think it made sense as the Wii had a more younger target audience and to be honest I don't think it's too hard to sit through the cutscenes they are a bit cringy but that's what you would expect when you pick up a sonic game when it trys to be funny or serious. The setting for this game also fits perfectly for a sonic game and as of it only being a theme park it makes sense why it would be a short adventure I think I'm going on a bit too long now so I'll list off the other things that are really cool 1.Cubot 2.Super sonic in levels 3.strictly boost formula 4.multiplayer 5.replayabillity 6.A bangin soundtrack 7.one of the greatest main themes for a game ever made

Ray the Past 5th grade Child I've been in a situation like that before: I used to have a box set for TMNT (2003) which I loved so much and used to watch all the time when I was kid but then I lent it to a "friend" (he's a dick head now) and he sold it. I remember my mom and dad split apart in 2008 and when they got back together in holiday 2011 I was 9 and I never felt better and I listen to the opening. My parents were all up on each other and I jumped in between and got supper hugged and my older sister joined too. This game brought the whole house together when I played. Then Mario 3world comes out n my middle school years🙃

Oh my god. I feel so much nostalgia from this. I have not played Sonic Colors for the Wii in YEARS!!!! (I blame one of them on a friend who I let borrow the game but never returned because it went missing.) I want to play it again so bad now!

Ray the Past 5th grade Child I've been in a situation like that before: I used to have a box set for TMNT (2003) which I loved so much and used to watch all the time when I was kid but then I lent it to a "friend" (he's a dick head now) and he sold it. I prefer this one over Ultimate's but especially for the beginning. The fast drum beats in this one fit with Sonic's running and they removed that

I don't know why people call this game crap it's a really great game with tons of new features a good story and the best soundtrack out of any sonic game.

And Sonic isn't really about story,and it doesn't really need a AWESOME STORY TELLTALE STYLE.
We just need a simple story that is good and it do have some functionality.
Even Sonic 3 & Knuckles had that, and it is the best Sonic game ever.
And I bet you are that kind of guy that is a fan of the Adventure games.. Like these games do have a really good plot.

I remember my mom and dad split apart in 2008 and when they got back together in holiday 2011 I was 9 and I never felt better and I listen to the opening. My parents were all up on each other and I jumped in between and got supper hugged and my older sister joined too. This game brought the whole house together when I played. Then Mario 3world comes out n my middle school years🙃
