Boss of Terminal Velocity. His pattern is quite simple to follow and his attacks are very easy to predict. He uses the power of each color and sometimes combines the powers together to form different attacks. When he comes close to the screen, you homing attack up his arm and hit him in the face (similar to previous sonic games). Once the battle theme changes, the color wisps start to follow you, and when they all are following you, you can execute the ultimate attack.
To be honest, it's a cool final boss, but no super form? I was expecting Sonic to absorb all of the colors at once and transform into some super color form, but nope..it's just plain Sonic. Cool nonetheless, but could be better. - เกม

I think the music is really fitting, especially as a child. Of course it’s not so hard today but when you were a younger child you didn’t even get the entire full combo when you attacked him after dodging all the stuff

Theres always hope for Sonic. What's important is that any game or story can be good provided it's done properly.
This was a boring boss fight tho, nothing difficult about it.
Honestly, if someone never played a sonic game and was introduced to only a few controls and basic knowledge, they would have an easy time with this boss.

the amount of chills that i got when i first played that boss and that happened was insane.
y'know the terrifying feeling you get when the drowning theme plays? i felt that exact way, except i felt thrilled.
One thing I loved about Sonic Colors' bosses is the various points of attack that you can keep wailing at. For some reason, I love doing this slow kind of destruction of things. Where you can just keep attacking for a long time as the machine slowly falls apart.

Yep that’s why I’m here. This version is so much better. In the remaster, they didn’t even add the eggman firework at the end😓 also the music sounds way better here. I came here for nostalgia because I unfortunately didn’t get that from the remaster😭

it is the bossdesign reversed. this boss just takes long with nothing going on and in the forces finalboss you are just fucked if you happen to not get the wispcapsule for whatever reason because you need to boost to it

y'know, I just thought of something. The core of the Death Egg Robot (final Boss) in Sonic Forces looks an awful lot like the Nega Wisp Armor.. (with some major differences, obviously). And looking at that, I had a terrible idea.... What if Eggman had more time on his hands right before the events of Sonic Colors? Could he have built an entire Death Egg Robot fueled by the Hyper go on energy from the wisps, with the Nega Wisp Armor being its core? ( again this is all speculation, none of this has to be right, but since SEGA hasn't openly confirmed things about it, I can do this with no trouble on my hands....well except for the judgmental eyes of the fanbase, that is...)
ill never forget playing this late at night, trying to finish before i had to go to bed, then hearing reach for the stars return for this conclusion. i swear to god it doesnt get better than this when it comes to final boss themes.
The Wisp Armor has been and always will be my favorite boss in the sonic series. Its theme is so intense and it genuinely looks hella terrifying.

It's amazing how powerful Sonic is nowadays to be able to stand up to Eggman's most powerful machines, like this Egg Nega wisp armor

This is my favorite boss in the entire series because it actually tests you on the skills you've built up while playing the game, instead of throwing gimmicky crap at you like most all the final bosses in 3d Sonic games (Boxing? What the heck Unleashed?). It was on the easy side, but I was really satisfied with the concept of this boss. I wish Sega would keeping making final bosses like this.
Finished it again but the remastered one... Brought up a lot of childhood memories I'm so damn happy I could experience this again

@@kl.8513 ironically i didnt encounter many bugs but its kinda neat they reskinned it to the nega wisp armor from the DS version. Though i wish they included Ghost to his attacks or also brought back burst and void.

sonic lost world had a lazy, easy, and repetitive final boss. It was just a counterpart of this boss that used the same moveset as this one. the music is even better in my opinion

Egg Nega Wisp. A final boss fight so nice that Sega copied it twice. Once for Lost World and once for Forces.
Frenzy is the basis for all of Eggman’s attacks and I love it.

God I love how the music goes quiet when the first phase music is done and when you boost into him it plays the second phase I just love waiting till I get the wisps and then slowly jumping and boosting the fucker down, I love how the music gets even more hyped when he's practically dead :)
