I don't have HID complaint touch screen but instead HID complaint touch pad, what can I do?

Hi! I don't know if you will read this, but I'm in kind of trouble with this ghost touching and I don't know what to do. My family can afford only one touch screen laptop, which I decided to use to start an art account. And now this ghost touching issue just won't go away. I tried your method, it worked and the laptop is still usable but the stylus doesn't let me draw properly after disabling touch screen. I can't afford to get the screen replaced. Please help me. I want to continue drawing.
Life saving honestly, my whole screen had the ghost touch and it was difficult to even get this done
The ghost touching is so rapid I cant even sign in to get to device manager and disable the touch screen. Should i just factory reset or is that pointless?
Use an external mouse, it will cause it to teleport back meaning you can do small bits at a time

how much is it to replace your screen? sucks that I spent a grand on a nice touch screen laptop just to have to disable the touchscreen capabilities:-/
Every model is different. Different sizes, resolution, touchscreen, refresh rate. Have to know the exact part number on the display

So there's no way to just reset it/attempt to stop these ghost touches without turning off/disabling the touch screen feature itself?
It is usually due to a faulty digtizer/on-cell touch screen. This is a solution until getting it replaced or if you don't care about the touchscreen

You know what! May the Almighty bless you in both this world and that world. Such a clever temporary solution it is. Didn't know what to do when I opened my laptop from my bag to have an important meeting only to find out that the screen got broken somehow and with these ghost clicks, having the meeting is impossible

I always use sleep mode (on dell laptop fn + end) wait a few seconds before turning on, and its fixed!
