I can't explain why this is so satisfying for me... I only know that it is very satisfying... "I know, it's only rock and roll, but I like it. Yes I do" I get "satisfaction" I do... because I like it.
Nice looking Damascus Blade Knife. I agree, please acquire a Belt Sander when you can. It will greatly improve your skill-level and speed. I would have loved to see what a difference the blade soaked in a dark roast instant coffee bath would have made. 👍
I've been following you for a long time and I really like the knives you make, I have a question, what is this white powder you throw on the hot metal...???
You can’t argue with success but I’m not keen on using mystery metal. Prefer certified steels. But I know you can make a decent blade from old 1930s files. So speaking of success if you test this blade on a Rockwell C scale, what number do you wind up with? How long will this stay sharp?
Shit, spreading all that abrasive stuff across the shop with an angle grinder, it's like spraying the swine manure with a leaf blower in the surgery room.
I do believe that is the most beautiful piece you've shown us to date.
Excellent work, you are so precise with the angle grinder.
You know why this man makes these beautiful knives? Because he enjoys it and he's good at it!
How true is that
Məncə də bu belədir
very well said, this reflects on his face, body language and the passion about his work, it can all be seen!!!!!!!!! hats off to this man 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤👊👊👊😎😎😎
Ah think its because he’s got a beardy beardy
The knife is very nice and useful, bravo🗡🗡🗡🗡
Is he a real mr sunny????😮
Muy bien hecho! Felicitaciones! Saludos desde Buenos Aires.

No big special tools, just a man and his forge.
Beautiful work!! 🙏💪👍
Looks at the forge press right next to him.... props for hand setting all welds first
Дуже гарна робота !!!

This is a masterpiece bravo
Man made me hungry when he fluxed that billet like an elote 🤤😂😂
I'm curious. Would the trimming scraps of projects like this make a good canister billet?
He looks so happy with an angle grinder in his hands
Great Work 👍

subscribed and was so happy to see a smith hammer and anvil but sadly right to the machines. stay pure stay no machines
What is in the bucket that you dip the blade in after u dip it in the engine oil? I enjoy your videos.
Adi qum və taxta tozu.həm soyuması,həm də yağdan təmizlənməsi üçün
Ferric chloride
Awesome !! I'd love to have one
after the quench in the engine oil, what is the material that place the blade in? It looks like pencil shavings or sawdust.
Taxta tozu və adi qum. Soyuması və yağın təmizlənməsi üçün
This makes no sense you should be drawing back after quench. That's how you set the final toughness vs rockwell.
Very nice knife, but am I the only one bothered by the sound made by an unseen machine when the blade was being cleaned (around 16:01) ? 😊
I love it!
good job congratulations bro
Yahşi bir deri yüzme bıçağı
You rock brother
I've been following you for a long time and I really like the knives you make, I have a question, what is this white powder you throw on the hot metal...???
I like the charcoal/coal fired forge. Old school tech.
im a NOVICE knife make-- in awe of what this man does--WOW
well did i miss the hardening step and oven heat treating ?
Очень нужны для таких дел гриндер и лентопил

What kind of white powder are you sprinkling on the hot metal?
16:47 man that is awesome.
Please, for the love of god and everything he holds holy, get a 2x72 belt grinder (or make one, I'll show you how) But besides that, nice knife!
Check out 2:16 he’s got a belt grinder
The man's happy with what he's got. Just enjoy the video
Agree
The reader 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
quelle genre de disque lamelles utilise tu?? cordiallement
Is that kerason ur using to start ur forge?
nice
I believe it's a throwing knife. The kind you don't bother to retrieve.
I do have a question... what is the white powder u spray on it ive seen it used but have no clue
Thx
@DamascusBro thank you very much
More likely Borax to flux the forge welds.
Wish the video had comments on the the steps show…. 8-> could have 10!
😮😮
Gostaria de saber que pó é esse que ele joga no ferro quente?
Es un kiridashi o un cuchillo para desollar 🎉
🎉🎉🎉
Сколька труда всё срезал резаюший кромка маленькая.
Baba tuzlaaaaa
Fun fact: Damascus steel were invented in india
🏆👍💯
Why the twist?
England?
Don't forget your eye protection.
Why not folding it like for classic katana forging to get 250 layers
Its more impressive when made from salvaged steel
Hi
❤❤❤😂😂😂
AllAll that steel to make more handle than blade haha
Shit, spreading all that abrasive stuff across the shop with an angle grinder, it's like spraying the swine manure with a leaf blower in the surgery room.
🇳🇴👍👍🥇
But ill throw an extra comment cos maybe i was harsh ,so this comment might help with the algorithm
If you've already demonstrated it being shaving sharp there's no need to involve pieces of paper...
👏👏👏👏🦾💥
Face mask for you safety friend
I don't know. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't count 250 Stacks of steel.
All that for that little bullshit knife?
What a waste of time and material to me. No offence.
Уважаемый!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too stupid to shape it with a sledgehammer, not a smith, just a medioker cutter and grinder
Everything is always great until u draw your design and then it's absolutely sh, wtf man you f it up at the end
