I spent November 2021 and July 2022 in Burleson. It's not the worst town I've stayed in, for sure, but there are some drawbacks. When I had to go across town it often took 30 minutes. The traffic engineering and city planning in that town are...poor. If you go across town at 3am you might not stop a single traffic light when you leave, but four or five when you go back home. It's bizarre. There are loose dogs everywhere. I don't know why, but it's true. For whatever reason people don't leash their dogs. And the house I was staying in (in a nice neighborhood otherwise), every house around me had dogs that barked. Two of the houses that bordered the back yard had dogs that barked at each other all day and a lot of the night. My own house in the middle of Dallas is quieter than that house was. Your cost of living seems way off, too. I haven't seen a
I live in Burleson as an outsider that didn’t grow up here my experience has not been very positive. Overall this little city is safe and it does have good schools which is what attracted us to the area. The people that live here are not the friendliest bunch, they drive crazy and gawk at you for whatever reason. There seems to be a lot of openly liberal signage but the feel is also very conservative. I don’t have a problem with that I’m independent conservative leaning, my only issue is when others allow their beliefs to make them prejudice. It’s starting to get more diverse which I am happy about but over all it’s not diverse enough for me. The food here is not that great, very disappointed with the Mexican food and Asian restaurants. The country breakfast spots are really good though. We’re moving soon the only thing I’ll miss is the beautiful scenery.
Burleson is my home town. When my parents bought our homestead the population was 879 and was a nice place to live. Today, it looks like they hired a drunken sailor to plan the city. All of the once productive farmers fields and cattle pastures have been cemented over, cut up into zero lot lines, traffic is at a standstill and it is a train wreck. It is one taco stand stacked on top of another. I wouldn't give you fifteen cents in Mexican money for the whole damn thing.
Hey Rebecca, I haven't but will add to this list. Would it bring you value if I connected you with one of our agents in Granbury and/or FW/WS/Burleson? If so...feel free to email us - admin@jaimeresendiz.com
If you live in burleson on the Tarrant county side you’ll pay more taxes. You’d think not but Jonson county is a crook county and uses excuse like, “you live in burleson school district”… I grew up here. Ya it’s a nice place. But the police are ass holes and some of the people can be a bit Karenish. Moving out of burleson was one of the better decisions in my life. Schools suck ass btw .. They focus more on sports and compliance vs actual education. Newer homes in burleson are poorly constructed; speed trumps quality here. The older homes are where it’s at. More room and better construction. Plus they don’t look like the house right next to it … drive in newer neighborhoods and you’ll see the same 3 houses repeated just with different color schemes. The older neighborhoods are diverse and almost impossible to find a house the same as another on the block.

Thank you for such thoughtful insights!
Burleson is nice. Eggs are now around $6.00 a dozen now though.
That escalated quickly right?
That's not a Burleson thing ... They are $8 in Los Angeles

Would you give 14 cents?
Why are there so many mudsharks there
Have you done a video on Granbury? Currently living here-thinking about moving to FW/WS or Burleson

You left out the best schools
Thanks. What else should I have added?
I have lived here most my life.
Please don’t move here.
It is so crowded now.
No love for new neighbors?
