Maybe it would have been possible to scrunch up some newspaper to put in the top of the hole to the septic/sewerage system. If then taped across the newspaper should cling a bit to the tape when pulled off. That or a bit of plastic taped over the top. Looking good though. Well done both of you. Best wishes.

In the end I tied a plastic bag around it which helped. Wish I did that sooner!

There are indeed although only the one in the bell tower is a large bell. The other two are fairly modestly sized
