Family Mart... Is one one finest convenience stores in Japan. You get into any of their stores across Japan, you see the same quality and consistency... To test that you have taste their ready foods which are being cooked over the counter... They taste the same be it any store. 👌
This is a great family mart. I've been in many, it's one of my favorite places on earth, no lie. One thing the locations in japan do better than really anywhere is the reading material section. Between the manga and the quality of cool magazines it's just an incredible place to get a snack a cheap conbini beer and a good read.

in shops in the uk we can get a "meal deal" which is a sandwich (can be other mains like sushi or wraps), a drink and a snack for £3 (~543円) even if the items would usually add up to more than that as long as you get those 3 things it reduces the price to £3, is there something similar to that in japan?
Same in australia, its all about greed. Japan is diferent, they try not to exploit the consumer at every step. For example a bottle of water at a vending machine at tokyo or osakas intl airport is about 130yen under a dollar us. fly anywhere else thats influenced by america with corporate greed and it is at least $5

Yes. Basically, all conbini have that two (if they not sold out).

It's similar to USA konbinis and truck stops. I regularly eat at a konbini called Casey's, they have decent pizza.
Convenience stores in Japan are way better than the one in the USA
