He's the local 'cheat code character' for the Fate franchise: "I have basically everyone's weapons, vehicles, and armour - except they're all better versions of them. I can shoot them out of portals like a missile silo."
Started out as a villain, but everyone likes him too much for it to stay that way.
His pride absolutely dwarfs Vegeta's and Seto Kaiba's. Like them, he's also a massive dick to pretty everyone who he finds not to be worth his time......which is pretty much everyone.

Gilgamesh is one of the first kings in mythology, and he’s a demigod as well. He’s extremely arrogant, and pretty much knows he’s hot shit.
However, because of how huge his ego is, he has a tendency of holding back. This bites him in the ass a lot and his characterization has focused on making him more heroic compared to his first appearance.
There’s an older form of him(his Caster form) who’s more composed and far nicer, but still haughty because that’s his thing.
Fate is mostly all about taking mythological/religious legends and putting their spin on it and what they would be like if you were to summon them. It also can apply to different points in their life or alternate versions of the same character. The poster of the series is a genderbent King Arthur primarily known as Saber(that was her first class) but is also known as Altoria/Altria as well. You’ve probably seen her at some point.
Heads up, this man make Vegeta in the Sayian and Majin Sagas look like the world's most humble man

If Gilgamesh has a copy/prototype of every weapon to ever exist and Shirou has a copy of every weapon he has ever seen, does that mean that both of their limits are theoretically infinite?
For example, Caladbolg 2. Because Shirou changed the original Caladbolg from a sword into an arrow, Gilgamesh should also have a copy of a Caladbolg 2 arrow in his treasury.
