I think she'll be back aswell Mostly because I think that removing character's data is just too ruthless and cruel, if they plan on getting rid of her forever. It still kinda blows my mind how this theme evolved from the theme of a "joke version"(I dont know if it existed any earlier, but this is a remix of the NP theme of her Summer version. Yes, the one with 'KENGEN BATTOU! OH YES! MY NAME IS MUSASHI MIYAMOTOU~!") to the theme of her last stand.
It first existed in Shimosa as the battle theme, then it not only became her NP music, but also the Las Vegas Duel music (whenever you fought the Swimsuit Swordmaster) And then it was further evolved into this.

I truly hope she won't . I love her as a character, but almost every death in the game is meaningless because either they die in a singularity and the actual heroic spirit isn't affected, or the character gets brought back somehow. This was an epic way to go out after a long build up of character focus for her, and I hope they will leave her character to rest and end with this instead of betraying all those emotions and bringing her back. Her role is over, her arc is done, her job is fullfilled, she found her answer. Let her rest

Honestly if she comes back the only reason should be because we somehow got sent to a place of nothingness. Which i could see happening since we can't detect the foreign god's observer on any instruments. If our enemy doesn't exist they likely come from a place that doesn't exist, and since musashi no longer exists she can be in that place to bail us out when we need it.

I was originally saving for Maou Nobu but when I saw her banner I remembered what she was able to do in Olympus and to honor her I threw in 30 quartz, but I wasn't actually expecting I'd be able get her. It'll take a long time to fully level her skills but I'm glad she'll be joining my little team.
I'm one of those players who are neutral about Musashi. I don't actively roll for her whenever she's on rate-up, but I don't avoid her like the plague in Saber support select lists. I do have her Berserker version, but apart from a brief stint as Arts DPS looper, she's not the most special Servant in my roster. However, her role in Olympus garners my respect for her character. She was there for us in Shimousa, then Las Vegas, then Russia, then finally in Olympus where she saved our ass. I'm happy that in the end, she found her reason for drifting between worlds, her purpose. Fare you well, Musashi.

I came here before Olympus, and now after it. I knew it was going to happen, I knew who was the one that was going to be erased, yet, fuck, may she be the gran saber god.
To me they are the same, both are equally incredibly skilled warriors which fate is to be one the worthy opponent of the other. Nothing more nothing less. They just enjoy the fighting.
They are both amazing swordsmen. Musashi has never lost a fight, and Kojiro has never won a fight. Musashi's talent lies in her ability to see victory beyond insurmountable odds and surpasses anything thrown at her no matter how grave. Kojiro has the ability to play out any and all fights simply in his minds eye, allowing him to predict counter and surpass anyone that fights him. But both were simply swordsmen seeking the apex of skill and inevitability one would reach it in the end.

Her first canonical appearance in Grand Order was her Onigashima meeting with Ritsuka, and their reintroduction during the Shimousa Pseudo Lostbelt. Both of this events occur AFTER Solomon.
I'm pretty she's one of the plethora of servants the appear to help Gudao in the Temple of Time. It's a minor appearance, but I'm pretty sure she's one of them.
I asked that question somewhere else and I'm asking it here as well: what are the conditions a servant needs to meet in order to gain the Grand status? Because to me, it's just ABSURD that she isn't the Grand Saber
grands aren't (just) about strength. They also need to be a perfect counter to a specific beast. That's why the grand archer sumoned in atlantis was orion instead of gilgamesh for exempe : while gil is stronger, orion has a lot of skills that are strong against animals and tus made him a good fit against koyanskaya, even if he died before meeting her. Basically think of it as crossing a checklist: 1) is the servant strong even without the bonus from gaining a grand saint graph ? 2) are his skills and NPs good against the beast that needs to be defeated ? If the answer to both is yes, then the counter force will summon that servant as a grand also note that while they can be only a signle grand servant of each class at a time, several servants can be candidates to the position (apart for grand assasin, which accordign to nasu can only be KH).

Chaos might not be a beast like Tiamat or Tamamovich, but he's powerful enough to be classified as a planet threatening menace and is the "father" to all olympian gods (including Zeus, who required the summoning of a god and a Grand Lancer in order to take him down). Not to forget that Chaos appeared through a rift in space and time, which is described as "devoid of form", a void. And Musashi, as far as I know, is virtually the only Servant who can "slash the void". Like, she looks at Chaos and said without a single hint of doubt: "yeah nah I can do this". I was originally saving for Maou Nobu but when I saw her banner I remembered what she was able to do in Olympus and to honor her I threw in 30 quartz, but I wasn't actually expecting I'd be able get her. It'll take a long time to fully level her skills but I'm glad she'll be joining my little team.
I'm one of those players who are neutral about Musashi. I don't actively roll for her whenever she's on rate-up, but I don't avoid her like the plague in Saber support select lists. I do have her Berserker version, but apart from a brief stint as Arts DPS looper, she's not the most special Servant in my roster.
However, her role in Olympus garners my respect for her character. She was there for us in Shimousa, then Las Vegas, then Russia, then finally in Olympus where she saved our ass. I'm happy that in the end, she found her reason for drifting between worlds, her purpose.
Fare you well, Musashi.

they plan to keep the game going, but you might play as a different character using the Gudas’ servants or something

I like to think that musashi's slash is similar to the effects of ado edem's slash emperor (Angel Notes) and im confident enough that this is an intentional reference since how close lostbelt is going with all the Notes lore with black barrel and alien gods

I came here before Olympus, and now after it. I knew it was going to happen, I knew who was the one that was going to be erased, yet, fuck, may she be the gran saber god.
It's been years and am still coming back, who needs the title of Grand Saber if she surpasses it.
And people still argue Kojiro is more skilled. Smh.
People are just obsessed over that stupid “regend” meme.
Kojiro might have used a broom but musashi had a damage eye and fought countless battles with lack of proper rest that where near death multiple times
To me they are the same, both are equally incredibly skilled warriors which fate is to be one the worthy opponent of the other.

They just enjoy the fighting.
They are both amazing swordsmen. Musashi has never lost a fight, and Kojiro has never won a fight.

idk if any other sabers/swordsmen has ever reached this realm but as far as canon goes these 2 are the only ones to reach such a state. So skilled in their swords that they are the only 2 to reach it.

Her first canonical appearance in Grand Order was her Onigashima meeting with Ritsuka, and their reintroduction during the Shimousa Pseudo Lostbelt. Both of this events occur AFTER Solomon.

I asked that question somewhere else and I'm asking it here as well: what are the conditions a servant needs to meet in order to gain the Grand status? Because to me, it's just ABSURD that she isn't the Grand Saber
grands aren't (just) about strength. They also need to be a perfect counter to a specific beast. That's why the grand archer sumoned in atlantis was orion instead of gilgamesh for exempe : while gil is stronger, orion has a lot of skills that are strong against animals and tus made him a good fit against koyanskaya, even if he died before meeting her.
Basically think of it as crossing a checklist:
1) is the servant strong even without the bonus from gaining a grand saint graph ?
2) are his skills and NPs good against the beast that needs to be defeated ?
If the answer to both is yes, then the counter force will summon that servant as a grand
also note that while they can be only a signle grand servant of each class at a time, several servants can be candidates to the position (apart for grand assasin, which accordign to nasu can only be KH).

She literally said that maybe Chaos was the reason she got summoned, backing up by Sherlock: "[...]coming here was her fate".
Chaos might not be a beast like Tiamat or Tamamovich, but he's powerful enough to be classified as a planet threatening menace and is the "father" to all olympian gods (including Zeus, who required the summoning of a god and a Grand Lancer in order to take him down).
Not to forget that Chaos appeared through a rift in space and time, which is described as "devoid of form", a void. And Musashi, as far as I know, is virtually the only Servant who can "slash the void". Like, she looks at Chaos and said without a single hint of doubt: "yeah nah I can do this".
I could go on and on and rant about this, but I reckon there might be stuff I missed (Fate/TM lore being what it is) and I'm open for more clarifications if needed

@@acesenpai6971 Musashi was a "normal" servant before even the lostbelts had started, she never actually died since Shimousa and has been shifting through worlds during all that time, it's not like the Counter Force had summoned her to defeat Chaos, so it was impossible for her to be a Grand Servant at that point
