This session explores the history of death, more specifically, it explores the changing ideas in regards to death throughout time. This is substantiated through observation of various funeral rites, interpretations of life, and ultimately how we, as the living, relate to mourning/grieving.
This subject is not easily confronted without discourse. Such an objective conjures up themes of ghosts, necromancy, afterlife hypothesis, deities, and at times disparate beliefs. This session, as many that have come before it, overall is interested in the universality of approach and how that universality has changed collectively throughout time. Much of the subject matter presented in this session will become a basis for more advanced sessions later in the course.

Ahhhh…just ADORE how you approached this & how BEAUTIFULLY you laid the foundation for this EVER EXPANSIVE topic! I’ve probably said this numerous times already & I will continue to say it a million more times [apologies if it’s SOOO repetitive 😅] - just can’t get over how fond I am of literally every.single.video that I’ve watched so far that you’ve created. SOOOOO completely absorbed. This one….ESPECIALLY. Pulled me right in & truly has piqued my mind’s eye. 👁️ Such incomparable work, Sir! Cannot rave enough…👏🏻

I really appreciate your work! I've been watching your videos for half a year now, and for me your channel is one of the gems on youtube. Really awesome work that you are doing!
If you have the time for it I would really appreciate hearing a video on Japanese Shinto!
All the best, and thank you for the outstanding work!

Great Video! I was wondering if you happen to have a video on Scythian religion? If not, Why so and would you ever or have you ever thought of doing so? Again, Great work on the videos and information!

There's isn't a dedicated video on the scythians in the course thus far, but there has been infrequent references in a number of the early comparative sessions. The one that comes immediately to mind is the "plants and spirituality" session where there was some details as to their marijuana usage lol.
Yes, certainly have considered such, they have a crucial and intriguing role in the history of western religion. As you can see, I'm on a bit of a comparative religion kick right now, but once I get back to focused sessions, this suggestion will certainly be on my mind.
