Icelandair: Economy Class Experience - Reykjavik to Dublin

After a couple of experiences of Icelandair in "Saga Class", it was time to bite the bullet and enjoy a rather expensive Economy Standard seat. This time, the Icelandic airport bus drives past me (meaning a one hour wait for the next one) so could the day get any better?

Lol. There was no food served in economy - it's worth checking out the Saga Class video to see the food which is served in Saga/business.

Thanks for the video Patrick. Quite an expensive fare for the short sector, Icelandair is really a sixth-freedom transatlantic carrier and those travelling through to N America get a better deal. You may know that those 757s will be replaced by A321 aircraft in the years ahead.

There was a period in early September when every flight to get off the island seemed pretty high - this is the best I could get, sadly. Yes, it's great heading to the US or Canada, which is what I've used it for the last couple of trips.
Delighted about the A321s, although the interiors of these B757s are in quite reasonable nick, considering.
