Appearences really are deceiving. When I watched her trailer I thought Cetrion would support Raiden, or at least be neutral. But damn, she's a total brat.

So, I propose the idea that maybe Kronika "created" rather than "birthed" the gods and whatnot. Or something like asexual budding. Just plop a piece of time somewhere and it'll spawn like a sponge. I don't know if it's true or not. Maybe there's some supplementary comic material I haven't gotten to which would explain that.

For context on extra Easter eggs: Erron Black Played by Troy Baker is Referencing Centrion’s Voice Actress Mary Elizabeth McGlynn past work on various things. 10:15 He references her playing the Demon Boss Nevan in Devil May Cry 3 and Urd in Oh My Goddess. 10:45 is a smug little reference to their work together in the Silent Hill games and Troy’s background of playing both Heroes and Villains. Against Frost 11:30 slight nod to Ghost in The Shell.
If Cetrion would return in mk12, I hope she redeems herself. I personally don't think she died because she merged with her mother, possible that she's the same as Raiden becoming a mortal again.
Also remember Raiden killed himself in an attempt to take out onaga and was able to return. The same could be said for Cetrion and it looks like we'll be introduced to yet another timeline anyway.

Man, I can't believe she was evil. The design of her made it appear her as someone who stand for life. It's a tragedy she was blinded with serving her mother, in the new timeline I would create with the hour glass, her along with fujin and raiden would be protectors of earthrealm.
Her calmness is very creepy and interesting. Her threats sound like she doesn't want to hurt you. But she has this certainty that she will and she will make you suffer.

The 2 sisters destroyed her. Cetrion finds herself very kind and profound, knowing everything, so the only one who could beat her at that was Jade, proving her she is evil, then kitana came in with the finishing blow with some savage remarks. I love Jade and Kitana
She's cute but kinda stupid if she's willing to listen to all her mother's vitriol. The only moment she acts like herself is when Shinnok is involved, even Gods can't hide their grief.

I love how conflicted Cetrion is. She straight up tells us that her mother's will splits her being in two and we can see that clearly in a mirror match intro. She's very conflicted in the meaning of balance and perfection. Why destroy what was made by Kronika? Why erase flaws if everything and everyome is flawed? Is wiping the "draft" clean justified? Is forcibly keeping balance of good and evil actually keeping balance?
