That line with Jade saying "since when is ignorance a virtue" was top notch!
What's funny is that after math reviled that cetrion isn't ignorant just a combination of fearful of her mother and wanting to try to save as many mortals as possible.

I really like how Cetrion is portrayed in MK11, though a very powerful elder god, it almost feels like she doesn't want to fight most of the characters she interacts with but rather wants to give them advice and wisdom and only really wants to fight with them when they reject her advice
She has also shown severe blind spots when it comes to mortals.
Then fails to own her mistake😅😅

Really wish they played more into her compassionate side, her telling Sub to forgive Bi-Han and that all beings deserve compassion genuinely makes me love this character. Some of her intros really scream what a great character she could be.
Here's hoping if Cetrion makes a return (which I'm guessing she could), she'll be a more benevolent figure.
Lmao I hate her character. Always talking about virtues and needing to take the moral high ground. She has suffered very little being her mother’s dog, and fails to understand the full extent of everyone’s situations, according to her dialogue. She’s like a supposed “humanitarian” that does virtually nothing to help anyone. Pompous, unrealistic, and pretentious are all words I would use to describe her character.

I wouldn't mind seeing her come back in mk1, i wonder what kind of person she would be with Kronika out of the picture. Bring back Shinnok as well. Those two would have some interesting intros.

So its true, base on one of her dialogues with Skarlet, she is weakened because she is forced to follow her mother's will which is the opposite of her being Elder Goddess of Virtue, Light and Life.

Is it me or the voice acting from the original movie actors are not so good except for Tagawa. He is Shang Tsung and always will be.
Tagawa is excellent and Ashby is great. Wilson is just all right but she's much better than Rousey. Poor Lambert's decades of smoking took their toll.

Bridgette Wilson not so much. Lambert is just trying to pull off that weird gravelly voice he used in the movie, which didn't sound that good there either. Linden Ashby is actually alright.

Friends, excuse me for a question, when Cetrion and Cetrion were talking to each other, what did they say, which one was good and which one was bad? I like this character a lot, I wish they showed him a little better as a living version of nature and he ended up being a victim of his mother, I think he wanted to work with her when he heard Liu Kong's words. but the fear controlled him that if he didn't, it would destroy the nature of the world and that made the ending sad

Of all of the NRS characters Cetrion is the least consistent. I just don't get the intention behind ger motivations.
Her concept is interesting in a series where basically every character is a total jerk at best but good still ends up on top, especially as the only elder god thats ever really addressed. But she's reduced to Kronika's mindless lackey to the point shes openly contradictory.
