- A walk through the 2024 Toronto Pride Street Festival on Church Street. I walk north through the festival starting from Dundas Square and make my way up through The Village to Bloor Street. At the end of the walk I come across the Trans march.

keep Yonge Dundas Square
I am black, and I think it is too late to change the name, which is a waste of money. I think using the Yonge and Dundas Square names are much easir for people to locate them. They should put that money into the health care system, to pay the doctors, nurses, etc.
Literally anything that makes lives better is a better use of that money than a vanity project that makes the city look more absurd than it does in touch.

It's truly unbelievable with all the issues plaguing the city, crime/carjackings, traffic and congestion, immigration our infrastructure can't support, cost of living/ housing crisis, and even the lagging healthcare system...but efforts are geared towards renaming the square. Crime and poverty needs to be addressed collectively before we even think about renaming a square..
It's called com mune ism.
Ok then, organize your march if you truly care about those things. Or you can just keep complaining about things you don’t like.

Everything was nice until some participants decided to be naked on the pride festival....It is a bit of extreme due to the number of kids at the time.
No achievement then no pride.
I don’t understand why pride and LGBTQ is pushed so hard, if I recall it is Italian heritage month, I haven’t seen any promotion regarding that…doesn’t sound like equality to me..
If you’re Italian, by all means promote it. Heck, if you’re a 2SLGBTQ+ Italian, promote both! One doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive of the other, and Pride needs to be promoted as does Italian heritage. It’s also Indigenous Peoples month: like, hell, there’s room for everybody!

they were promoted by the media more. now they are getting boycotted by the establishment. they don't even change logos or avatars to commemorate pride season any more
@@openbob6656saw plenty of coverage on CP24, and elsewhere. If anything a lot of us in the queer community are not interested in what is more a victory lap for cops and corps than a grassroots celebration.
