- An ad hoc group - The Coalition Against Pinkwashing - a queer and trans activists from Palestine solidarity groups - held a press conference at Yonge and Wellesley Sts. saying they were justified in protesting at Sunday’s Pride Parade in Toronto and forcing it to shut down.

Or maybe it would be more fun to have a white pride march or white history month(though whites see themselves as diverse and only some minorities see us as a single race of colonizers, racists and full of prejudice).
The few white kids in modern times who turn to racism and terrorism like school shootings, are mental health issues stemming from a lack of connection to family and community. So can you imagine being allowed similar to the black community, to be able to march down a street with family and friends chanting white power instead of black power(with our neighbour's and family members). Then have classes celebrating all the inventions by white people around the world. Pointing out strong white politicians who fought for individual freedoms, athletes who excelled and so on, same as they do for these other groups. This would help the next generation of children with white heritage find connections with community rather then feeling excluded or even persecuted watching everybody else legally being able to celebrate being born with a penis but really being a woman or the joys of being black and forcing these lessons on all the other communities in school and in public who do not have similar events of their own. What do you think?
they should have one day not a month just like we have parades for other things. I get where you are coming from but this is one of those things i think is a good thing in moderation but each province should have it regulated to one weeked where they can have a day or the weekend to party like many other community groups have their special celebrations.

The protest parade didn't even try to stop the main parade and got no where near the main parade- rather a small group with the same protests interests, also tried to stop the parade.
