Another tip for the newer players out there: please, whenever you are ganking, stop and take a second to see what your teammates are doing, and if they are setting up something, time your attack with the end of their combo. Thank you very much.
Just be careful with those GB sidesteps on Forge around the hammers. You can easily walk into those hammers on accident with GB sidesteps if you're not careful.

Just started playing the game this past weekend. Discovered your channel and it has helped immensely to get myself up to speed. Just out of curiosity, what is your controller setup or do you happen to have a guide for it? I recently just switched to guard mode to toggle so that I could be free to not be holding down the button which lead me to re-map guard to right stick press. Still trying to find better spots for the other buttons, like if it'd be better to move one of the attacks to one of the triggers (currently have guard break as left trigger since I moved guard mode). Yes, 500 ms light attacks are in the realms of reactable for most Players. (No formal calculation) Let's say the average reaction time is around 250ms A guard swap takes 100 ms And if we take into consideration lag and input delay this number may shoot up to around 450ms. So on normal days it should work out, that being said if you have a bad day, where you feel exhausted it may happen that a lot more attacks are hitting you. I always advice to sprinkle predictions into the mix. A good prediction can take away reactions problems Depending on the type of attack I advice to skewer your focus, if it's a 500 ms light attack, reacting to it is the way to go, if it's 400ms then predict it. You will otherwise eat a lot of them. And if you don't trust your reactions/set up then focus more on predictions. Are you a new player?

It's just that I recently noticed that I may not be able to react to neutral lights, or at least that it's inconsistent, and that what I previously thought were reactions were actually subconscious reads. I wondered if there was some change from the CCU that I missed or something. Good to know that it should be physically possible, at least. I've kind of just been praying people won't notice that merely pressing the light button is sometimes quite an effective way to kill me, at least most times. Thanks for the response.

That change was made for light attacks to be more viable, so lot more can land You are not alone, a lot of people have the same struggles as you. Try and practice and use the tools given by the devs. You can do it!
It seems like my reactions are 50-100 milliseconds too slow, and I've been at it for quite a while now. I'm not sure if I'll ever get it honestly. I know what the ccu did, and I think it was a good change overall, but if I can't block neutral lights that makes them guaranteed damage, and I have to try to read them, which is easier said than done since they can come out at any time. I can't even recall if I could consistently block lights before the ccu at this point since I'm just used to it. And it seems I have trouble parrying the lights after that too, but that's likely just because I'm not good enough at reading or because my internet connection is acting up. This means I have two options: -Become some kind of reading god to have even the most basic of defense, which still likely wouldn't work sometimes due to Internet shenanigans. -Always attack first and be on the offensive as much as possible to avoid having to be defensive in the first place. -Keep trying, I guess. I just want to play the game, and I still enjoy it, but I honestly feel kind of handicapped here. I mighy just be doomed to forever have shit defense.

Also, is the Guardian worth killing?, The buffs are cool but you spent 2-3 minutes fighting guardian instead of objectives(except for Jang Jun of course infinite stamina will him is pretty awesome! ).
I can't even consistently block light attacks with my poor reaction time and my poor fps (30 or below most of the time), so crushing counter is not on my mind right now xD
Yes! I have 1200h on this game, and this game have so much potential that i haven't planned to stop yet. I just hope i could soon have my own home sweet home and buy a better PC

It saddens me to see how almost half of the fans & community where so quick to be so disloyal & unappreciative to the Devs & this amazing one of kind of game, you would think folks would be a bit more understanding with the given circumstances but all I mostly seen the past 2 or 3 yrs was " the game is dead,the Devs are idiots an don't play their own game,etc .",FH the reason I even got back into gaming in 2017 when it came out an I bought myself the game as a Vday gift,so as a overall rep of 680+, day 1 rep 70 PK savage main, Knights faction 4 life with over 200 days of game time on Xbox , I promise u there is no one who luvs this game more then me. I luv all the heros & everything about the game an I just want the game ,hero & gameplay balancing an everything else to be as fair as possible then maybe we can see the game blossom on a competitive level. On another note I actually luv Tribute & would luv to see some of the current game modes reworked/revamped bcuz there are several ideas to bring these game modes back to life. Reflex gaurd is the next biggest unfair disadvantage that needs to be addressed also along with some better UI for certain things. I'm so proud that the Dev team came back so strong for the new season when half the community counted them out & shitted on them, this by far is the best season since MF when the Wu-lin came an I can't wait to kick y'all ass on Xbox this weekend on my off days so remember the name VampWolf Knight!! Hello from the future. While I agree with you on the topic in defense of spammers, the game doesn't do s-word to teach new players how to actually play. I started the game about less than a week ago and I have been reading like I'm in college again. Most people wouldn't be this passionate about a video game. First of all, the game doesn't have a thorough tutorial mode. It teaches you just the very basics. Game has very interesting mechanics adds up or cancels one another. And many different heroes who combine these in various ways. Some movesets are quite complicated to pull off for casual players. Some heroes are hard to react without proper knowledge of their movesets. I personally have never played a similar game that requires this much reflex and coordination. People respond to these the way they feel secure, with low risk actions. Light spam, dodge spam etc. and the game doesn't do anything to change these habits. Just the other day I saw a hero, nobushi I think , spamming until she is OOS then runs away and I thought man what an idiot. Today I learned that she has a feat that rewards this type of behavior...

I believe if the glad starts a skewer throw he is then safe from gbs, put not attack damage.

Ability to cc light on reaction requires you to react 200ms or less isnt it? It should be possible atleast in training mode
