They don’t have city sewer, they have a septic tank. The septic tank can’t hold enough waste for that many people, hence using all of the paper plates, cups, etc and doing laundry at the laundromat.

A septic truck comes to your house, gets close to the tank, runs a huge long hose and puts into tank, and pumps out waste, this includes shower water, kitchen water, laundry water, toilet water. Most rural areas have these, the size of tank depends on number of household members, this home is older and probably has 1000 gallon tank. Not enough for that large of a family.
With that many people they would have to have it pumped annually at the least. We have two kids and three adults and do it annually. My parents are the type to never do anything. They didn’t pump theirs for like 20 years and I kept mentioning it and they ignored me until their toilets began backing up on the floor and they had a sinkhole in their yard. I would imagine this family has to have a swamp somewhere in their yard. In Montana I’ve never lived in a house that didn’t have a septic tank.

Those pork chops are so thick because they are meant to be stuffed. You need them that thick so you can cut in the pocket.
Every year at my husband's work they have a dinner with 3 inch pork chops and they are delicious!! I think they're grilled though, def not put in a slow cooker
I do small valentines baskets for my kids. It’s usually only some crafty stuff and one or two snacks. Their bdays are in Feb so it’s too close to Christmas to do a ton. But it’s fun to do a little bit and they look forward to it.
I also think she goes to the laundry mat because the washing machines are much larger than what you can buy/ regular residential ones.

I can’t even fathom taking that many clothes to the laundromat. During the pandemic I was so anxious and avoided crowds. Out washer broke and of course there were no parts to be had. I had to take the family’s laundry to the laundromat and I went at like 5 am to be around as few people as possible. I had more than enough experience with a laundromat while living in an apartment in Alaska.

I live next to a steel mill and have a puppy and a kitten, so it'simpossible to keep socks white no matter how much bleach and Oxy I use. I do not walk barefoot indoors...and if my pillow touches the floor, it's getting washed. I look at baseboards for cleanliness. My kids say "No one looks at baseboards" WRONG I do. I don't have carpet, and I have to sweep 3x a day or more. My pup will be a yr old at the end of the month and he's been shedding sooo much since we've had him. Will he ever quit shedding?!? THESE PRETZELS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY!!!!

As a mama to a special needs child, I do really admire any sort of work that a person does with special needs kids. I hope that Josh is a great teacher.
As for the IEP information. She shouldn’t be giving people that sort of advise or put a disclaimer that this Info is strictly for her area.
IEP for someone in her area is not the same in another state or district

I’ve been to these laundromats….to dry a decent load is like 30 minutes and costs like $3.50 and then a quarter to keep it going before it shuts off. That’s a couple hundred bucks for her to do laundry.

My aunt brought me up showing me how to use tools & how to work on things. Including on changing a tire & oil on your own . I've always been independent & never wanted to have to rely on anyone for anything. Not even to move heavy stuff around my house. Yes it's fine to ask for help when you need it but it also feels good not feeling helpless. I'm raising my daughter to be independent & know how to use tools & do things on her own. One day she'll be living on her own & need to know all this stuff.
Also I am not average as you said. I have a learning disability, ADHD, and am likely on the spectrum. I just finished my Ph.D in education and studied self advocacy.
She can't set up multiple washers and dryers, the electrical can't handle it. Not to mention the septic.
I have a cousin who has a large family (5 kids). She purchased a very large and expensive washer and dryer combo. They are amazing, work well and are very deluxe but look like industrial grade equipment.
They were renovating their house at the time and they needed to upgrade to 3 phase power to support these, the air conditioning and her fridge.
So, I truly don’t think that the power at Lushy’s home could support a larger washing/dryer, all of her fridges and her aircon.
Missed the live, but I have 2 January babies and I always say April is when my seasonal depression ends😂

I go crazy for things that go on the bed to be on the floor.
If the kids have different issues, I'm sure the bright colors can be overwhelming. I've got my own issues, and lots of orange can make me even feel nauseous, and that's as an adult. 😕
I am a complete Starbucks gal, but when they added Dunkin’ Donuts here in California, I found that their drinks are good because I like super sweet drinks but their donuts suck!

I am so particular about my laundry that I once yelled at my boyfriend for touching it. It's almost a phobia. Turd soup is one of her specialties.
There aren't many special ed teachers, so if he's the only special ed teacher for that grade, he may have to teach them.
In NY, where Josh teaches, the school can't just push all special Ed kids into one class. They are mandated by law to put into certain classes like 12:1:2; 12 kids, one special needs teacher and 2 assistants, and the classes get smaller and smaller depending how disabled the students are. Source: I am a Mom to a child that received special education.
I think she knew she scanned it twice. Last week I accidentally stole a calendar from Walmart. I had a bunch of big items ie Kitty litter, 50lbs of dog food, bottled water, pop etc. When I was putting the groceries in my trunk when I noticed. It was sooo cold and worn out...I took it homr and it was a 2022 calendar!!! So is it really stealing? Lol

My mom's birthday is February 3rd. Usually we stock on extra presents around Christmas time so it's easier and if we forget we have stuff. Why couldn't she go when they had after Christmas sales? You can get great deals and I mean I guess also buy overload.

Not to defend her, cause I also don't care for her that much. But as she is a former special education teacher she may be figuring that for the children with disabilities vocational rehabilitation services will pay for most if not all of the costs of trade school. I am also a special education teacher in the states.

11 of the 12….well number 12 isn’t in school, and will also be classified once she is in kindergarten…more because of her horrendous behavior, since I’m fairly certain she was thrown out of the preschool she was in, and not taken out by Lush for a ‘smaller program’. She’s 4 1/2 and is never corrected or disciplined.

Dunkin is absolutely trash. I am convinced that they re-use grounds for more than one pot. I’ve gotten it where the coffee was barely tan and tasted like hot water. I’d rather get gas station coffee.
I used to like the doughnuts there before they stopped making them instore and focused on their coffee
the reason dunkin is like that is bc they’re mostly run by franchisees, so there is no “standard” and general/regional managers and owners kind of just do whatever they want to do. but ur right about the quality of the coffee grounds not being as good as they should be. the only things i get from there anymore really are espresso drinks & cold brew

We live in an area with well water and septic tanks and our neighbors with 6 kids parents and a set of grand parents have a grey water system so their was water also waters the flower garden and trees. And they use it for pressure washing the house cleaning out the gutters and washing down the driveway and such. That would be a nice little write off for our White Claw Mama.
