Her kids also aren’t crude and rude and crass…they are polite and appropriate when speaking to their adult parent. They’re also cooperative, helpful, thankful and grateful.
That can come a lot from the child’s prior home and trauma that they experienced and when not addressed properly in the new home, that’s what you get. It’s the parents fault for not setting appropriate guidelines and working towards them by Being involved in a appropriate way. lushy just worries about the content so the kids just fend for themselves. Doesn’t seem to be any time for healthy healing for those kids. I really like seeing the kids proud and happy to be involved in the creation. ❤
For that birth-mother, having Heather in the room with her, probably solidified her decision. She probably went to bed that night at peace, knowing she chose the right person and did the right thing for the baby.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
I also placed a baby up for adoption a decade ago. The parents that adopted my son where both in the room while I gave birth. Neither of them left my side and where amazing. We also have an open adoption and has been wonderful from the start.
Even if she doesn’t believe that her children are going to go to college…what about their future? If it’s not college why not a fund for future😅
Reminds me of that family that “returned” their adopted child. They were absolutely distraught they couldn’t film him when he first adopted him.
Kids don’t need a perfect mom but they do need a mom that puts them first and tries damn hard to be involved and helps the kids, guides them etc. the Bells are a family, Lushy’s fam are supporting actors in a B movie.
Before I was a nurse, I worked in a hospital as a "patient sitter". I worked with a lot of females that tried to unalive themselves. I would tell them, you can talk about anything you want but I won't ask you, your story. That is your story and it is yours to tell or not tell. A lot of them were in the foster system and their pain was usually over having to go back home.
Wonder if that’s why older male “unalive” statistics are on the increase. When they are kids , males generally bottle up there issues more which then comes out during adulthood. Compared to females who seem to be able to talk a lot more in general. (Obviously there are outliers on each side).
@RandomPhil86 my half brother was 13yrs older than me and unalived himself just before his son was born because he had a messed up childhood.

Birthing a baby is one of the most intense experiences you can have and then to give them up for adoption straight away. I couldn't imagine how emotional that would be. She is a true mum to be so kind and sensitive to the birth mother of her adopted child. 😢

I couldn't love Heather any more. Just the way she talks about her kids is incredibly heart warming. So empathetic and respectful to what her kids have been through before they got to her family. She's in a totally different league to Lushy. I'm really enjoying this content ❤️

I've always wanted to foster children. I think it is such a loving thing to do. Just to give them a place to feel safe and cared for.

Hey girl, i keep missing these lives. I am not feeling so well. I got an ear infection which will not go away. I need these laughs, but have no energy to stay awake for it. (different time zones). Replay gang.
Well this might be my first Frenchy vid to make me cry. She absolutely did the right thing by making sure the kids aren't surprised by their adoption. I wish every adoptive parent did that as adoptees are already incredibly sensitive and much more vulnerable to mental health issues. My parents did the same thing and I'm grateful I don't remember finding out I was adopted and that I somehow always knew.
I found my bio Mom a few years ago from 23and me and she recently ODed at the end of December. This sounds silly and dramatic but if my Mom that raised me had been in the room with her, spent time with her, and if we had an open adoption it's more likely she would still be alive. Adoption is so hard on the Mom and the child but a closed adoption is even more devistating. My bios grandfather forced her into a closed adoption and while I am incredibly grateful his decision lead me to my amazing family, it definitely ruined her life. I hate that I had to cut her out of my life because her addiction was unsafe for my sobriety, but I am really grateful I got to know her and my siblings before she left us.
Despite the tragedy of loosing their mother that my siblings are going through... the good news is we are all now sober and extremely close. I have watched them get sober over the last few years and I am the proudest big sister on the planet!
Anyway, adoption just causes so much pain and it is really wonderful to see someone going above and beyond to make it easier. ❤️

you have to have your core be able to self reflect... I don't see lushy as having one.... the manipulation is so huge, and extensive... I don't watch either of them other than through you but this obsession from Heather of the parents be healthy is gross! For the majority of my kids childhood (6 through to over 20) there was genuine question as to my survival. I was a single parent and did a lot of parenting from bed. I was still absolutely the right person to raise them. They are 24 now and thriving. My daughter will qualify as a doctor this year, Son has flown and having a blast in his life.
Being sick, being a wheelchair user, needing daily living assistance does not a bad parent make!

Please check out the Ballinger Family. It is a mom, dad and 6 kids. They have been online for years and they encourage their kids to follow their dreams like their oldest son is 13 and into engineering and legos, their daughter is the oldest and 15 and she likes reading and music theater, their 9 year old likes gymnastics and is mini Miranda Sings. I think they are a good family vlogging channel. Their oldest son even has his own channel that he does like recipes and engineering. Just a thought for another family to consider as a good family.
Thanks for introducing us to the Bells, Frenchie. I took a look at her pantry video and I subbed right away. Her organization and responsible shopping had me dropping my jaw, I loved almost all of it (except after a rewatch, I noticed that she consumes Young Living and that culty stuff freaks me out. Biggest negative about her so far other than the virtue signaling). Foodie’s trainwrecks are fun to watch on your lives, but I do need some doses of sanity in my sub box.

Did Heather put out these videos before or after the criticism of Alicia blew up? Heather is hitting point by point all of the major of criticisms of Alicia's channel. Seems she is trying to distance herself from Alicia's channel so people won't go after her next. Heather is guilty of doing some of the same things Alicia does and she knows it. Heather is attempting to save face here.

I don’t think the Bells care about subs. She has great cooking content and is more relatable than the Dougherty’s that spend thousands on Christmas gifts and food.
