I wish these reviews of the software would test it on really rough photos. Many people in the design world have to work with bad resolution images and make them work - but most of these reviews are literally starting with RAW photos from a high end camera.
I also picked up Topaz Photo and Video a year ago, and have to say it’s very useful. Topaz Video takes way, way too long to use but I can understand why. However, the Topaz Photo is incredibly quick and intuitive to work with. It’s cleaned up loads of photos that I thought were complete losses, and the upscaling works pretty dang well for updating older digital photos too. My complaints are (1) frequent crashing, (2) massive file sizes, and (3) weird artifacting when enlarging and sharpening. Moles are a good example of this.
Are you using Topaz on RAW images first? It looks like you are processing this and using Topaz on TIFF files. Does it work good on TIFF? Some noise reduction products really stress using it on the RAW first but I find that after I crank up the contrast in post processing the noise comes back.
Great video. I use Topaz often and find it's also far faster on Denoise compared to LR. That may be dependent on the graphics card in one's computer but just a factoid. Thanks!
I have DeNoise and Sharpen as well as GigaPixel - all amazing. I see on your desktop you have them too - so do you prefer the separate apps or is PhotoAI just as good?
It is calling my attention that Photo AI is getting worse. Many times it fails with the auto pilot and does nothing with the image and then it is necessary to start moving sliders

In your 3 points, are you referencing the video or photo software.. mainly, issue #3

I’m wondering what his experience is as well. I have all three separately and also the photo AI. Can’t tell much difference myself.
Photo AI is good enough most of the time for me!
Great video! I appreciate you getting to the point. Not adding a lot of fluff.
how is it for bulk upscale/enhance?
Have you used it for B&W?
Has anyone compared Photolab 6 or 7 noise reduction to Photo AI?
Good Bro

I bought it and I think the same thing, the autopilot sometimes does nothing in the photos.
