Thank you for sharing your journey with us, I just made my first video documenting my journey with triple negative breast cancer stage 2B just this past Nov 5, 2020 and I’ll be doing the genetics testing soon and starting chemo Dec 9, 2020. I have a bad family history with cancer period. Thank you again for this info because you have helped me so much going into this all so new. Sending love from southeast Kentucky
It's great to see you again, you look so beautiful as always! I'm very sorry to hear about the gene with you and your sister and I do hope your other sister does not test positive. You getting your risk from 85% down to 5% will be so great. I hate your going through this but just know you have people like myself sending love and support your way!! Your such a strong woman and I know your going to beat this!!! I can't even begin to imagine how hard it has been on you but you look great and you still have that beautiful smile. Thank you for sharing your experience and keep on smiling that beautiful smile!
Thanks for the comment, its so nice to know that my videos are helping others. Yeah, we were hoping that we didn't have the BRCA gene mutation, but you have to deal with whatever comes your way. Luckily my sisters can have their surgeries and hopefully avoid the hell that is cancer.
Awwww you'll get through it xx just take it small steps at a time. I'm so nervous about my surgery, but I am focusing on finally being able to say I am cancer free, and the fact that i'm reducing my recurrence risk from 85% to 5%. Any anxiety i have goes down when I focus on the positive aspects xx good luck xx
I was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer. My sister and mother died of ovarian cancer. I tested negative for BRACA 1 & BRACA 2. I will have double mastectomy and my ovaries removed so that I don't have an increased risk there. Not sure where all this cancer is coming from in my family.
I’ve just been diagnosed with TNBC myself . What was the size of your tumour and any positive lymph nodes ? I too have tested positive for the brca 1 gene .
Hi. My tumour was 2cm by 1.7cm. I haven't had surgery yet so they don't know node involvement, but its looking like no nodes involved. Obviously if there is some spread i will likely have to have radiotherapy... but fingers crossed it wont be. The reason my cancer is 3b is because it had started to move into the chest wall.

Hi there, just wanted to check in with you to see how you are doing.

Cheryl Smith it might be down to a genetic mutation they aren’t aware of yet. But at least you gave the option for risk reducing surgery xx

How are you today? Any case of relapse?
