I have been a longtime fan of your gift of filming. This is a thrill to discover a new town in France. I keep thinking about how the "accidental alarm" led to great lessons, then a "coincidental" side trip blossomed from this. You set a great example to your family and your sons will remember this. I'm a retired French secondary teacher from the Dallas, Texas area and I appreciate your vlogs.
What a kind Mum you are Marloes, driving your son so he didn’t miss his trip ☺️ The village looked so charming with all its beautiful buildings. It’s fun to see old classic cars I think 😊 Thank you for another lovely video 💕😊
Taking your son to catch up to his " castle building" trip, GREAT! Seeing Tigrette up close, such a beautiful kitty. Thank you for taking the time to create a beautiful video.
Your place is so charming. ❤ You and your husband should be proud of what you have accomplished. I'm glad you have found some time to enjoy it. I have seen documentaries about the castle being built. It was so sweet of you to get your son there in time to join his classmates. The village you visited is stunning. I was amused that it was the black sheep that found its way to greener pastures.
It's so peaceful and nice!I think I saw a ray of light in the world's noise overflowing with busy and noisy accidents! I'll have to take care of my country house again☺️🥰Thank you for the beautiful video♡
What a beautiful video (all of your videos are amazing) but this one in particular was very calming and what a gorgeous little town you showed us. You had a long journey to take him to his field trip but what a sweet thing to do. The classic cars were an added bonus and I bet your son enjoyed seeing those too. I was sad that we didn’t see you create one of your delicious recipes (can’t wait for your cookbook to come out) but this was definitely such a beautiful video. Oh, and I also thoroughly enjoyed receiving your email about your latest renovation reveal-it’s such a stunning cottage and I can’t wait to one day come and visit with my husband and youngest. Hope that you have a wonderful weekend. - Amy
Very soothing video, I love the opening with what appears to be the mama cow having some kind of cow talk with baby & your cat running out of the rain into the safe arms of his owner both waiting for rain to pass....love that rainbow after the rain! In a way, it was great for your viewers that your son missed the bus because we all got see where he was heading & what he was going to be doing, (very interesting) like a good mother you drove him there....as for that sheep you found on your property, she was busy doing her own thing, after all she is the black sheep of the family....totally enjoyable video!
Just wanted to say, I have only found your vlogs recently and am in the process of watching all of them. I am truly enjoying each one of them. Thank you!
I missed a class trip to Munich because I felt sick during the night. I was sad in the morning when I felt well. My dad took me to the train station and I took a train instead of the bus. I connected with my friends and enjoyed 3 days in Munich. I never forgot that my dad did this. I was 13 and the first time on a train. Your son will appreciate this forever. I'm 60 now and wished I could hug my dad one more time. This was a beautiful video and outing. Thank you. 🍃
How sweet of you to drive your Son to his school 🏫 trip destination what a Amazing Mother you are !I so enjoyed your telling this story about your Son !Blessing to your beautiful Family !
I love your lovely, peaceful videos. I hope your son enjoyed his trip with his class to the castle. You are raising them to be good people by the wonderful example that you set. I enjoyed looking at the beautiful flowers in the charming village that you visited. It’s always interesting to me to see the types of flowers that are growing in other places . The honeysuckle was the same kind as the one that grew on the fence at my childhood home. I did enjoy the vintage cars, the garage and the signage too! A road well traveled to get to the seaside…. I love that. Thank you .
All your videos Marloes are so calming and beautiful and peaceful Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with Us all around the World 🌎…..I live in the USA 🇺🇸 in the Mountains 🏔️ of New Hampshire in a extremely rural area .Enjoy the rest of your Summer
I enjoy watching your videos of life in.the french country side. And thank you so much for not using any music! It feels more real and almost as if we were at the place with you enjoying the sounds of nature and every day life.❤
I am sitting on my front veranda in Canada on our dead end street ,this mid July afternoon and enjoying traveling with you . Last year my husband and I spend time on a riverboat cruise touching in on 5 Eastern European countries. It was magical.I so loved seeing ,learning and experiencing the old world . With your videos my mind drifts back to those days .
Thanks for sharing! I would still love to experience a river cruise. There’s something that feels so special about the slower pace of travel and the totally different perspective seeing things from the water.
Beautiful. If I ever come to France I want a tour guide like you. Paris and the big cities might be nice, but these historic towns and the countryside are what I love. And you always find wonderful places to eat, too. Thank you for the tour of your France in summer.
Great recommendation and great video. We decided to go there and have a holiday. And today we visited the village. Very nice. Thank you very much. It was worth the trip. The area is also very beautiful.😍

I Hope you’ll come back to Noyers! It seems like you may have missed some of the best parts! Parallel to the Main Street is the river and the back of all the houses with many of the famous Noyers towers. If you follow that road all the way and back up you get to the trail which leads up to the very ancient chateau which is being rebuilt very much like Guedelon.
Beautiful video once again that's what mums do👍 and you got to see that lovely place 👍 and the last part of the video so relaxing you should pat yourselves on the back for what you've achieved! regards Lesley in anglesey 🙋🥂🍾🥰
We do! We’ve taken a break from the building works to enjoy summer and have more time for each other, friends and family visiting and it’s a busy time welcoming guests and helping them discover our beautiful region! We will continue refreshed and with positivity in September. And it is really helpful when others point out to us how far we’ve come! We tend to not see that anymore sometimes…

if you find this town already beautiful, then you should have a look at Colmar and other towns in the Alsace.
Oh yes I love Alsace and want to plan a trip to Colmar and Strasbourg!
What were you doing with the hydrangea? When you cut the leaves and put in dirt? Will that create more?! I love your videos!!
Yes it was supposed to create new ones but it failed miserably. I must have kept the soil too wet… will try again next year!
4:23 Anyone know why she trimmed the tips of the hydrangea leaves?
To help the stems create roots instead of putting energy in growing the leaves. The project failed by the way 😂
@@FrenchCountryLife Ok, thanks. I have never seen that done before.
@@gotoalex100 i followed a gardener’s advice. But I kept the soil too wet so it failed.
@@FrenchCountryLife Hydrangeas are not the easiest to transplant.
I think you need to use more mature pieces of the plant. I have had success.
