My family is from the area, never gotten to visit but plan on it. Washouse in Fedry, Haute-Saone was beautifully designed by my great great great great granpapi
The canal is really a great thing to do. As you said you can bike or walk along the canal and visit all the beautiful villages like Chateauneuf en auxois. Perfect plan for chilling out.
Thank you, James & Laurent, for such a delightful video! I really enjoyed your co-commentary and how you alternated between the two of you. This video was well composed, informative and picturesque. I am now making plans to visit the region next year! Merci beaucoup!
@@JamesandLaurent We will probably stay in Dijon for 1-2 days. But should we take the train from Paris to Dijon and then rent a car in Dijon? Or just rent the car from Paris? Is Dijon drivers friendly?
It can be quite a disturbing place in an alternate timeline, they call it ordenstat burgundy and its ruled by aryan chiken man but lets just ignore that anyways I think it ended in a thermo-nuclear war or some stuff like that...
What a nice video! This must have been a lot of work to put together. Ass a (starting) wine drinker I would love to visit. What are the top places you would recommend?
Very hard question to answer, not knowing what you like. Domaine Senard took care of us very well. But the landscapes around Pouilly Fuissé were the most beautiful.
@@JamesandLaurent i personally loved the 'duet', but each to his own as you say. Love Burgundy very much, and this has inspired me to revisit as soon as possible. Thank you, and subscribed. 🙂
Thank you so much, that was wonderful. You have confirmed my long held desire (since childhood) to visit Burgundy - I'm determined to do it. Merci.
Have fun!
Dear James and Laurent, visiting Burgundy with you is a delight.
Obrigada!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for bringing back such wonderful memories of our times in Burgundy. We recognized so many things.
Glad you enjoyed it
My grandparents raised us
here every summer in Dijon. Live in California but I miss Burgundy!
We hope you get the opportunity to go back from time to time.

Amazing soothing greenery 🎉

Thank you James and Laurent for coming visit burgundy by boat, and for your nice video. You can come back when you want.
Thanks so much. We had a great time on the boat.
Thank you for these very nice views of Burgundy and especially of the Cluny Abbey!
Our pleasure! We had a great time visiting the abbey and hope this video encourages many more visitors to go there :)

Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
hey:) what month of the year did you travel to this area? looks amazing!
We always travel to Europe in June. It is not as crowded as July and August. But the weather is already warm, and the days are longer.
Where is that bridge in the end of the video? Great content!
Not very far from Dijon. A small village called Sainte Marie sur Ouche if we remember correctly.
vive la Bourgogne!! et Les vins...
On a la même vidéo en français sur notre chaîne française.
Great video! If we will be going from Paris to here, would you recommend taking the train or driving here?
It depends if you're going to stay in Dijon or if you want to move around to the various sites all over Burgundy.

OH MY GOD ITS THE FUNEE GAMER STATE!!! 😱😱😱😱🤯THIS IS A CERTIFIED [STRENG-GEHEIM] MOMENT
We had never heard about this game until people started commenting on this video 😂😅😂.
OMG THE FUNNY NUCLEAR WAR MAN WITH GLASSES?!? REAL OMG😮😮😮😮
I visited a Burgundian bunker and was forced by the soldiers to work restlessly there. Luckily I escaled with the help of free nations.
Haha :)
Very nice charming place..have been here.
We thought the same thing :)
It's Gamerland!!
???
@@JamesandLaurent Lookup Hearts of Iron 4 The New Order. You will be freaked out a bit, but its interesting...
We're clearly too old for this 😁😅😁.
@@JamesandLaurent Lololol!! The Burgundy playthrough though, full of top notch chaos...
@@JamesandLaurent résumé : il fait référence à un jeu video ou la Bourgogne est un état faciste dirigé par Himmler

Since TNO players love talking about their favorite mod in the comments. What is your opinion on TNO?
We are so old that we had never heard of it until viewers started writing comments about it 😂😅😁.

Burgundy hasn't existed since 2016. Its now referred to as Bourgogne
Bourgogne is the French name and Burgundy the English translation.
Nice and informative but listening to 2 different voices all the time is annoying...
This is the first time we hear this feedback. We have actually heard the opposite feedback on countless occasions. Everybody is different.
