Softr + Airtable = GAMECHANGER for saving on users in a workspace!! Great video Dan and thank you Artur, Mariam and team for an amazing low/no-code tool!

Hi after adding table and after login in through magic link lucie client
I can see the custom tasks table which we made but i get a popup saying "unable to fetch datasource base tables by given parameters, or the requested model wasnt found. Check that both your user and your token have the required permissions, and the model names and/or ids are incorfect"

Hey Zoya, might be a good q for support. I do remember a similar issue I had before because somewhere the magic link was hardcoded to a different instance of the app. But seems like support can get you unstuck here

Dan, have you made a video comparing Softr to Draftbit? Or could you provide some comparison insight?

Good question! We're doing some of the more similar comparisons first like Noloco, Retool, Glide with Softr.
Super high level, Softr is more for internal tools on web. Low barrier to entry for non-technical folks.
Draftbit is most known for native mobile apps and so if you're building say an MVP for external users is probably the better choice there. More control but at the expense of higher learning curve

Are user portals unique for each user? For the customer portals, my idea involves embedding unique content specific for each user. That includes other third party SAAS as well as Airtable. So each user would need some unique menu items that enable them to navigate to their respective content exclusively. Is this level of user-specific content segregation feasible within Softr customer portal architecture? Finally, can we embed file uploaders like Box Uploader for example?

Looks like this is achievable by adding unique user groups.

Yeah, should be easy through user groups. Down to the user level would get tricky though

This is great! Is there a way for clients to submit project with in the portal?

Yes! You can assign them a role (like Client) and then add a block with action buttons that allow them to create a new project

Like your videos but WAY too much zooming, you make changes on side bar but then I have to back it up to see what it looked like before and after, we all have high res screens, we can read when your using the full screen.

I don't disagree! Something we're trying to improve with our video editing team. Thanks for the feedback.
