    This is fantastic! I was so annoyed when I learned that I couldn't make a dashboard public and share it easily with my clients. This doc idea is a game changer, not to mention the fact that you can have shared meeting notes which is a wonderful way to make sure you are aligned

    Thank you for this! Can the client adjust the order of the task list? For example, if they have a new request that becomes more urgent than those already on the list?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They can't adjust the order, but you can create a ClickUp form for them to submit a new request. On that form, you can let them choose the priority with the native priority field. You'd then just sort by priority on your public task view for them.

    Thanks for this video, this will be really helpful to explore with our clients. At the end when you were sharing the document there was mention about being able to turn off the last updated avatar, but I didn't see that in the end of the video. Can you share how this is possible?

    It was very helpful. Did you hear of Lark? It is really popular in South East Asia right now. Could you do another version of the client onboarding process for Lark? Thank you!

      @@ZenPilot Thank you!! I have been obsessed with Lark because of how useful it is, except for one thing: it is rather a bit difficult to set up the first time. I have been searching everywhere for tutorials specialized for marketing agencies using Lark but have not found anything useful. Looking forward to your new video about this!

    thanks for this video. really helpful. is there a way to add a chat widget to the client portal so clients may be able to communicate w/ the PM?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They'll need to be a guest user to chat directly in ClickUp.
      This portal is more for visibility. You can combine this with a shared client list though. If you invite them to the shared list and create a chat view there, they'd be able to communicate with you.
      Plus, you can embed this portal into that list so that they could see this as well.

    I am assuming then that the client does not need to login to see this doc/page. I tried it as public doc and the page shows up in a different browser but the content just says "this page is unavailable"

    Can you assign tasks to your client and they can mark it complete via the portal?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not with this portal set up. You'll need to invite your clients as guests to assign them to tasks. I talk about that in this video:th-cam.com/video/HVQZBdo385A/w-d-xo.html

    How would you maintain this across all clients? Lets say you had to make an update to the client portal. Wouldn't you have to do individually modify each doc?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Each client would have a separate document so each would have to be updated manually.
      I'd recommend you create an initial template of this and make sure it's spot on before deploying it.

    How is it possible to give the customer an overview of all projects if a project is a list? I would also be interested in how you could get a project overview of all customers? (Overview of all lists)

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  ปีที่แล้ว

      If your project is a list it'll still work the same. We break projects into phases and each phase is represented by a parent task with subtasks underneath it.
      If you created your views at the client folder level, you'll then be able to see all lists underneath that folder and so the client will still see the project (but broken down by phases/parent tasks). You can leverage custom fields to group those tasks together in a view for them.
      Secondly, we can get a video created for this, but you can either create a view at the Delivery space level to see all clients and their current projects, OR you can create a dashboard for this. The portfolio widget offers a good way to see progress across a variety of lists.

    • @pascalkuratli84
      @pascalkuratli84 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ZenPilot Thank you for the feedback. With the new "Task-Type" feature, I can now mark the parent task in a list as a project type and filter accordingly for the "Current Projects" view. Everything is working fine in this regard.
      We still have an issue with completed projects. When a project is finished, we archive it in ClickUP. The problem is that the list and the parent task are no longer available, and we cannot include them in the view. Is there a way to work around this?
      In general, what do you recommend? Creating a list for each project or creating a list named "Projects" where the projects are represented as parent tasks?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pascalkuratli84 We'd recommend creating separate lists for projects that are billed separately (e.g. website project, hubspot implementation, etc.)
      Other than that, we'd keep deliverable work in service line or retainer lists.
      But yes, that is a limitation to this. You don't have to archive the project lists right away if your clients want to have all of that data in this view.

    • @katiebani
      @katiebani ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ZenPilot Would you say 1 list = 1 service/offer?
      Or would you have 1 folder per client and multiple lists regardless of having 1 or more services you sell them?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@katiebani You want to have 1 folder per client and then you'll have multiple lists in those client folders based on the services you are providing for them.

    ONE BIG THING is missing.. chat. How would you communicate with that client with this?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question! With this method you would have a slack channel open between you and the client.
      If you want to communicate with clients in ClickUp, I'd recommend this approach: th-cam.com/video/HVQZBdo385A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_f2IKeBKVyyfJpnb

    How can I embed a dashboard into a document in clickup without it sharing all of the other lists and other client information
    at the top?

    • @ZenPilot
      @ZenPilot  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dashboards can't be made public the same way that a view can. I wouldn't embed a dashboard here, only views.
