If you're suffering from this you should try to use dermazole shampoo use it every two days for 3 - 5 minutes before rinsing, and for regular shampoo try dove derma care, and also dont use conditioner often or any unnecessary hair products like hairspray, dry shampoo, dry conditioner, etc. For the pain you should consult your doctor for some meloxicam - anti migraines, you know the antibiotics. These are the things ive used when i was suffering from folliculitis. I make sure that my scalp doesn't get too oily for this to occur. And as of now im feeling fine, no more break outs in my scalp. Make sure to have a GOOD HYGIENE, that is one of the most important things you shouldnt neglect if you don't want any break outs. Make sure you dont pick the scabs and pimples because it'll only make it worse.

Even I have it for the past 6 yrs I have tried multiple doctors nothing helps. Till the time you are eating antibiotics it goes away but again comes back once you stop consuming antibiotics.
I am also suffering from this acne on scalp and acne near nose and mouth only. They appear suddenly and become crusty in a day or two. I tried different doctors they just prescribed acutret 10mg or amoxy capsules for a month then these disappear but comes back after few days. I am so frustrated now i dont know what’s the actual treatment for this. I am on medication for the past 2 years. Can anyone suggest shall i get myself any skin test or any other medical test to check the root cause ? Will Taking these antibiotics daily on long period affect my health in future? I am 26 yrs old. I was also suffering from acne around nose and mouth region. I went to dermatologist and she said it is because of your skin is producing excess sebum and all that stuff. She said, you have to lower your stress level as much as possible ( which I said not possible 😢) , then she gave me prescription of medicine here it is : Fusicorte ointment on white pimples around nose and mouth...just little bit not to much and avoid sun contact. Use vitamin c in diet as much as possible. Use vitamin c sun block which contain these 2 ingredients zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, but it should be oil free. 3. After morning facewash from a good vitamin c face wash... Just dry your skin and apply Benclin gel ( you can get it from pharmacy, it is mixture of hydrogen peroxide and benzylic acid which will control the sebum production, and its a gel form so yo don't have to worry about it's texture...just use not too much...) then apply sun block and go out. Always use cold water to wash your face and wash your face 3 or 5 times with water and 2 times with vitamin c face wash. Fusicorte ointment should only be used at white pimples around nose 👃 and mouth 👄 area ... If you have acne on your cheeks and head ...for that she prescribed me a tube named : Adapaco forte gel , but you have to use it very precisely on just acne area, and it should be not more than the size of pea... And should only be used at night...in start if it cause you sensitivity...then wash it after one hour ..then day by day increase the time .... For medicine she gave me Cap. Doxycycline 100 mg ( 1 in the morning after breakfast and 1 in the night aftet dinner) ... I tried this routine for 10 days my acne gone vanished.... But then i ate nuts and fat enriched food and stress hit me again, which caused sever acne back 😢 not only on skin but also on hair scalp...now I am suffering from sever hair follicltis and skin acne ... I am thinking to go again 😔 to that doctor...yar it's really painful in hairs 😢...but if you have just skin acne you can try above things. Just avoid oily things, junk food and anything that trigger your stress ❤. Lots of love and care 💖

Hello mam, I've had this scalp problem now for now atleast 2 years. I've been on isotretinoid and clindamycin based gel . The first treatment lasted for 3 months after which it relapsed and when i took a 6 month course it relapsed again. I don't know now what to do......I've consulted various doctors but they keep telling me to use the same medicine. But the effects of the medicine only last for a month after until the pimples start coming again

I've dealing with this for over 16 years. It doesn't go away it's the first thing my doctor told me but I didn't want to believe him or give up, I think i went to dozen of dermatologist over the course of the years and the best they could do lasted for maybe a month. Now I just try to keep the area dry of any oil, you have to learn to deal with it and make it easier from time to time like you've experienced.
I have had this acne Issue for about 8 years, I had tried all kinds of medications (Isotretinoin, Minocylin, clindamycin) and they are all temporary solution. I have found a way to keep them controlled, still it is cyclical but majorly now under control. 1. First of all, you will need completely stop all kinds of antibiotics and trust yourself and manage pain on scalp for that moment. 2. You will need to stop having sugar, chocolate, sodas or any kinds of sweet. 3. Probiotics 120billion+ ( this helps reduce excess oil+ helps your gut health which in-turn reduces acne) 4. Include Kambucha drinks during the day. 5. Shampoo with has Salicylic Acid. 6. Face cleanser with Salicylic Acid 7. Dairy causes a lot of acne in many people, reduce consumption of any kind of dairy, Including milks. Hope this helps! 8. Tea tree oil for scalp where there is white or redness.

Actually it's been quite long time since I've been suffering from this condition.. and mam said soo true that most of the time i couldn't sleep bcoz of the pain i ised to feel while putting my head on the pillow.. and i said to mom that my doctor said that no oiling.. and used to give me quite lot tablets.. so that was the reason my mom used to hate my dermatologist bcoz she used to think from where I'm gonna have strength in my hair if I'll not put oil in that.. thank god I've a relief from that painful acnes.. and my back acnes.. may i would say one thing.. I've gone to tons of derma but it's the effect is temporary.. still I'm on medication from different derma.. and idk when will those acnes come again.. hope so it'll not..

scalp acne honestly is not curable i have this scalp issues for 22 years visit many doctors only antibiotics they peescribe and ince you are done the treatment acne comes back i just try to mantain my scalp clean and i stop taking antibiotics many years ago too much medication could cause health problems

Seriously there is no medicine for scalp acne but if u want solution just do water and vegetable juice fasting for 3 days after that do daily 18 hours fasting like doing breakfast at 12 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm before and in between 6:30 and 12 u can have only water and vegetable juice that's all . What ever doctor said it's totally waste. U can use clindamycin lotion(not cream) for scalp acne for temporary relief. Am the one who suffered scalp for 7 years fasting is only solution for pimples and scalp acne.

I have skin lump on my scalp then i used many creams after applying they get better but when i dont apply then they come back then i visited doctor they recommended me ketomac ketanozole shampoo and antibiotics but they are not working also there is no any changes in my scalp this problem is from 12-14 years on my scalp can you tell me what can i do now😢

I am also suffering from this acne on scalp and acne near nose and mouth only. They appear suddenly and become crusty in a day or two. I tried different doctors they just prescribed acutret 10mg or amoxy capsules for a month then these disappear but comes back after few days. I am so frustrated now i dont know what’s the actual treatment for this. I am on medication for the past 2 years. Can anyone suggest shall i get myself any skin test or any other medical test to check the root cause ?

I was also suffering from acne around nose and mouth region. I went to dermatologist and she said it is because of your skin is producing excess sebum and all that stuff. She said, you have to lower your stress level as much as possible ( which I said not possible 😢) , then she gave me prescription of medicine here it is :
Fusicorte ointment on white pimples around nose and mouth...just little bit not to much and avoid sun contact.
Use vitamin c in diet as much as possible.
Use vitamin c sun block which contain these 2 ingredients zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, but it should be oil free.
3. After morning facewash from a good vitamin c face wash... Just dry your skin and apply Benclin gel ( you can get it from pharmacy, it is mixture of hydrogen peroxide and benzylic acid which will control the sebum production, and its a gel form so yo don't have to worry about it's texture...just use not too much...) then apply sun block and go out.
Always use cold water to wash your face and wash your face 3 or 5 times with water and 2 times with vitamin c face wash.
Fusicorte ointment should only be used at white pimples around nose 👃 and mouth 👄 area ... If you have acne on your cheeks and head ...for that she prescribed me a tube named : Adapaco forte gel , but you have to use it very precisely on just acne area, and it should be not more than the size of pea... And should only be used at night...in start if it cause you sensitivity...then wash it after one hour ..then day by day increase the time ....
For medicine she gave me
Cap. Doxycycline 100 mg ( 1 in the morning after breakfast and 1 in the night aftet dinner) ...
I tried this routine for 10 days my acne gone vanished....
But then i ate nuts and fat enriched food and stress hit me again, which caused sever acne back 😢 not only on skin but also on hair scalp...now I am suffering from sever hair follicltis and skin acne ... I am thinking to go again 😔 to that doctor...yar it's really painful in hairs 😢...but if you have just skin acne you can try above things.
Just avoid oily things, junk food and anything that trigger your stress ❤.

Applying oil is not recommended. Stop it for a few weeks.
Use ketoconazole shampoo every few days and allow the scalp to heal.
Also I would recommend using warm water instead of hot water. For inflammed scalp hot water is not a good idea.

The first treatment lasted for 3 months after which it relapsed and when i took a 6 month course it relapsed again. I don't know now what to do......I've consulted various doctors but they keep telling me to use the same medicine. I've dealing with this for over 16 years. It doesn't go away it's the first thing my doctor told me but I didn't want to believe him or give up, I think i went to dozen of dermatologist over the course of the years and the best they could do lasted for maybe a month. Now I just try to keep the area dry of any oil, you have to learn to deal with it and make it easier from time to time like you've experienced.
I have had this acne Issue for about 8 years, I had tried all kinds of medications (Isotretinoin, Minocylin, clindamycin) and they are all temporary solution. I have found a way to keep them controlled, still it is cyclical but majorly now under control. 1. First of all, you will need completely stop all kinds of antibiotics and trust yourself and manage pain on scalp for that moment. 2. You will need to stop having sugar, chocolate, sodas or any kinds of sweet.
3. Probiotics 120billion+ ( this helps reduce excess oil+ helps your gut health which in-turn reduces acne)
4. Include Kambucha drinks during the day.
5. Shampoo with has Salicylic Acid.
6. Face cleanser with Salicylic Acid
7. Dairy causes a lot of acne in many people, reduce consumption of any kind of dairy, Including milks.

8. Tea tree oil for scalp where there is white or redness.

Ketoconazole - dermazole
Use it every two days and leave it for 3-5 minutes before rinsing.
For regular shampoo, use dove derma care. It helps aswell

Actually it's been quite long time since I've been suffering from this condition.. and mam said soo true that most of the time i couldn't sleep bcoz of the pain i ised to feel while putting my head on the pillow.. and i said to mom that my doctor said that no oiling.. and used to give me quite lot tablets.. so that was the reason my mom used to hate my dermatologist bcoz she used to think from where I'm gonna have strength in my hair if I'll not put oil in that.. thank god I've a relief from that painful acnes.. and my back acnes.. may i would say one thing.. I've gone to tons of derma but it's the effect is temporary.. still I'm on medication from different derma.. and idk when will those acnes come again.. hope so it'll not..

Seriously there is no medicine for scalp acne but if u want solution just do water and vegetable juice fasting for 3 days after that do daily 18 hours fasting like doing breakfast at 12 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm before and in between 6:30 and 12 u can have only water and vegetable juice that's all . What ever doctor said it's totally waste. U can use clindamycin lotion(not cream) for scalp acne for temporary relief. Am the one who suffered scalp for 7 years fasting is only solution for pimples and scalp acne.

I can understand the pain, im looking for some lasting solution for this, but i can help you with temporary one- use candid topical solution (its antifungal) it really helps by just one application.
Apply lamp oil in head for 5 days
It will work really
