    O k from personal experience that i've dealt with with my own body. Had normal blood sugar levels and had hypoglycemic attacks. What I found out is it's not so much the blood sugar in the bloodstream. Its the cells have become insulin resistance so your body doesn't absorb. Then it might take Refine carbohydrates to drive the blood sugar high enough to get it into the cells. So your blood sugar will be high in the bloodstream. But it will be enough to drive it into the cells with the insulin resistance. The fix is to eliminate carbohydrit's and to eat moderate protein with natural fats like butter and eggs or fish. You can't just Go cold Turkey on the carbohydrates. Or it will give you hypoglycemic or put your body into shock. You're going through a withdrawal. You may Have to taper off slowly and that it's gonna be a rough ten days at least. Remember to keep your electrolytes balanced like potassium and magnesium with plenty of water and salt, preferably manual salt. You're going to basically be going into a Form of keto and carnivore diet. If you do it correctly and be disciplined, you can make it work really well, but you cannot be Lazy or it will not work the most optimal. Hopefully this will help somebody struggling with Insulin resistance or hypoglycemic non diabetic or Prediabetes.

    I just had a false hypo this evening. I called my husband. He brought my glucose monitor (I normally don’t carry it because the only problem is have is with spikes). However, I’ve been watching these spikes and eating low carb to keep them at bay. My glucose was only at 90, but I was definitely having symptoms and could not drive. We ended up having to pay $50 to the garage. I can’t wait for this to go away. It feels so awful.

    I have had false lows for years. I did not know they were false. I ate candy and it made me feel better. At the time I was testing very infrequently. I have D2 and did not think I had a large range of variation. In the past couple of years I also contracted vestibular migraine condition, which I felt very unsteady and like I was going to fall. I am getting treatment for that condition, which also feels like hypoglycemia.
    Recently I got a prescription for a continuous monitoring device. That has helped me to sort out if if have a diabetes issue or a migraine issue.
    This video was really helpful as to the cause of my not feeling well associated with diabetes.

    Hi Doc. I had an episode that I can not explain. One night I woke up shivering uncontrollably and feeling hypo. I checked my blood but it was normal for me. 130 I went to emergency the next day still felling hypo. Vomited in the waiting room. and shivering. They could not find anything wrong and later that day was feelling normal again. I had a similar episode about a year later but not as bad. I'm a type 2 for about 15 years 77 years old. I inject Trasiba insulin and my A1C is 5.5 mmol. Your talk about false lows is the first I have heard about the possible reason for my episode.

I felt like I was having hypoglycemia and when I checked my blood sugar it was 130mg/dl, despite the number my husband gave me a cheese stick and beef stick since we didn't have anything sweet on hand at the time. After I ate it my blood sugar actually dropped to 116. I was extremely confused with these numbers associated with the symptoms I had, nothing like this had happened to me before.

Apparently under 4 is true hypoglycaemia but I was normal and I’ve had this for over 15 yrs on and off. Was gone for 10 months and it came back again. So annoying!!! Just want to live a normal life 😢

      @sweetfiresroastednuts6535 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@War_Princess ok so I've figured it out......I did ALOT of digging and I came across a post on reddit. It stated that because your insulin is normal and you get these symptoms. Assuming you don't have any other major issues, to wait it out. I know it sounds crazy, for example sit down and wait it out for like 10-15mins. If you're not hungry and you get these symptoms like 2 to 3 hrs later that's not hunger. It's your bodies flight or fight because its used to snacking. So again wait it out you're going to go through different type of symptoms but just breath it out. Have a snack by you, but DON'T give in. Once the 10-15mins passes do it again. This is called exposure therapy. You won't pass out if your blood sugar is normal. It just feels that way. I went through this for about a few days and believe it or not its gotten SOOOOO much better! My body started getting a bit sweaty, shortness of breath, headache/body ache, etc. Its almost like an addict getting withdrawals because u always fed it sugar. But you have to really go through the symptoms. Again make sure its not hunger symptoms, mine usual started by the 3rd hour and I was not hungry. Hopes this helps!

    Now I'm eating 3-4 meals still clean and healthy and only drinking water my protein carb and fat intake is only slightly less then when I was eating 6 a day

    Get yourselves a Blood Pressure Monitor, learn to use it (because) the High/LOW Blood Pressure shakes/symptoms are the same as the shakes/symptoms for Low Blood Sugar (for me). Also, if you find yourself getting cold/chilled/even freezing shakes, it can be bc of low/high blood pressure. So, dont cheat yourselves out of some learning. Go get yourself a Blood Pressure Monitor. Just last week my sugar went down to 48. My bp went down to 70. Without my monitor, I never would have known. It's a great tool to have on hand. As far as blood glucose/sugar, I am poking 11-15 times a day trying to balance, and I just cant do it anymore. Sometimes I am poking 3 times just to get a drop of blood for the test strip.

    I'm T2. FYI I like kid juice boxes. When my blood sugars go up or down fast I get hungry. Usually I drink a lot of water to give my stomach something to do until the change slows down.
    When I first got T2 I felt lousy below 90. Now I don't get hypo symptoms until below 65. (This is not good.) I just got a cgm.

    I experience this between 3 and 5 AM five out of seven nights a week. I wake up angry and sweaty and with hunger pangs and trembling. It’s usually not low, in the 86 range. But, if I ignore it, it gets low. I think what I’m experiencing is the rapid descent. Best solution is a midnight snack of chips and guacamole! I go back to sleep and the symptoms don’t wake me up again.

    I have these and they are sometimes unsettling. I dropped my sugar level from 300 to levels of 100 to 130 in a year on metformin and trulicity along with losing 40 lbs. I was having sugar levels down to 83 so my Doctor gave me the ok to go off all my diabetic meds. I get false lows now that sometimes cause tremors throughout my body. Does anyone else have this level of false lows? I drink a small kids juice box and it goes away within mins.

      @@owenv2429 Hello, I found that cutting carbs like you are doing is the best thing to help the highs and lows. I mistakenly thought I was getting these "low" feelings from my sugars but I found that it is my lower back with herniated discs that press on nerves down there that are giving me tingling feelings. I found this out from waking up from belly sleeping with my leg bent up to my side that it went away within mins of me getting up. I get these feelings if I sit slouched or lay down in a certain way. I just got an epidural shot in my lower back last week and hoping it helps things shrink and relax so I don't get these feelings. Just keep doing what you are doing and snack every couple of hours. I keep a bag of raw almonds on me and snack on them when I feel like I am going to normal levels of day 95 to 100 glucose reading. Skippy peanut has a new Natural peanut butter with lower sodium and sugar, try taking a tablespoon of that before you go to bed.

For feeling low in the 150s i think your A1C might be a little too high to where your body thinks 250 is normal for yourself. but it’s not. try lowering your sugars little by little everyday and keep it as steady as you can.
      try averaging 180-200 for a week and then your body will start to adapt to that.
