Seen enough Peackock bass fishing content on YT for a lifetime haha, may as well just go up to Florida for a experience with those! Not really anywhere else in the world where you have a potential and catching a number of different catfish species that push 100+ pounds. Keep doing what you're doing, love the content!
The peacocks we catch in south Florida only weigh 3-4#. Their strikes are absolutely vicious! We catch them on spinners, shiners and red worms. Did you eat them? They are actually excellent. It's not unusual for us to catch 50 a day in the Glades.
I appreciate how much respect you have for your guides. Pretty curious though, what boats and outboards are these guys running? I’d imagine whatever these guys are using for guide service they’ve gotta be pretty reliable, easy to service, and cheap to fix and maintain.

I've caught peacock bass myself but it seems like even the small ones pound and a half two and a half 3 lb they fight like a damn 30 lb peacocks I mean I know that big ones fight just as hard damn good eating too

They were honestly awesome man. Mainly 15 foot v bottoms with 15 horse Yamaha and tahotsus.

Just casually using 5-pound peacock bass as bait. They must be some incredible catfish down there.
The catfish get monstrous down there. I considered using bigger baits, but I didn't want to use it all at once
