I know we have discussed fishing for your Iowa roots … and you convinced me I was wrong ! This has been your best series of fishing brother ! I mean wow you could easily be on television 📺. I mean your stepping way up ! And it’s interesting stuff , not bass fishing content, but amazing multi species . I could not be prouder of a good ole Iowa boy ! The wales catfish was great and this trip is unbelievable and the big river blues inbetween was amazing . Keep it bro and you’ll have some monster sized spounsers .new boats bigger trips . A river rat line of pre tied catfish rigs … it’s endless . You have made a better mouse trap for sure ! ❤

pretty much the same kind of deal with your Jau spot. He said he had a 2lb (live?) bait on called a "kuby". No idea what a "kuby" is though. From what I remember every big name fisherman who caught one has either used big live bait or whole bait.
      Edit: kuby=south american freshwater drum.

You were one of the main reasons why I started kayaking catfishing and this year with my new kayak. I hope to get my very first 30 lb catfish in a kayak. I've only caught a single 30 pounder in my life and that was out of pay lake. Keep pulling in them. River monsters and I truly hope to see you back in a kayak catching flathead as soon as possible. Lol. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a happy New Year. I'm really not smart with phones having only had one for the past 5 years. Don't know what the congratulation thing is. Going on three to see how far you've come was pretty cool. I hope this card pays off for what I wanted to do. I do a lot of river fishing, camping and kayaking at the same time which is really freed up a lot of my time because I'm able to do all three at once lol my Christmas is great. Thanks for asking.
