@@mikaelericsson2491 its a chek valve i believe, but i am also missing some info about why the water in the bottle is clear whilst the camera shows the checkvalve was submerged.
@@mikaelericsson2491 it is meant to clear watervapor off the gas, otherwise it would not burn. Humid gas enters the bottle, the humidity condenses in the bottle, the gas is pushed back by the water into the Container

Actually that is very common in some countrys… they have a container to put animal fecies, spoiled food and green plant matter into. The gas is used for heating, cooking and power production and after a while the leftover is put on the field as fertilizer. It’s very economic and saves a lot of fossile fuel.

Thank you for showing this presentation. I have learned a lot from it. I used to work for the land fill here in Indiana and I should it pay more attention on how the process of extracting natural gas works from them. I always been interested on this process and I believed that if you lived of the grid this would be very helpful.

But now if may ask, a question popped up in my mind. From the addition of Ammonia, Potassium and Salt? What would be the outcome in terms of gases? We know from the traditional way of just cow dung then whatever kind of organic materials you would have a combination of Methane, Carbon dioxide, Hydrogen Sulphide and a few other gases in trace elements. How would this affect the cleaning(upgrading) process and energy value of efficient combustion, storage and compressibility of the biogas into the cylinder bottles for things like transportation.
And then my request from you is. Can you make a video on upgrading the biogas. You seem to have a lot of knowledge on these kind of things and I must say your presentations are clear and you are always ready to share. It seems like a lot of people don't want to share their secret on that one, everybody comes with a beautiful(bait) video tittle and then a wishy-washy king of presentation that never really add any value to the audience. I know I have asked too much but please do respond to what you can, whatever you can't I'll be fine with that either. PEACE !!!

Но, по моим расчетам, для того, чтобы зарядиться газом нормально и в том числе на авто, нужно заряжать куба три, выкачивать газ в камеры от грузовика и уже оттуда, с помощью компрессора, загонять в обыкновенный пропановый балон. Поменять газовые форсунки на плите и ву-а-ля)
Принцип, показанный автором требует применения химсредств. Если же обходится без химии (ну, чтоб совсем бюджетно), газа будет меньше, но будет. Коровье дерьмо подходит идеально)

Una ultima pregunta el bote donde va el agua , forzosamente tiene que ser de menor capacidad, que el bote donde se acumula el gas? Esto afecta en algo, ? Gracias.

This was awesome. Thank you for doing this in such a plain and straight forward presentation. Reading the comments, I noticed that nobody asked (that I saw), if the water coming out into the reservoir can be used for cooking or if it is drinkable? This kind of thing would be great in a bunker both for heating and cooking, and if the water is drinkable, it would solve the issue of getting drinkable water and being able to store it. Also, could dog feces be used or do the feces need to be from a farm animal such as cow, horse, pig or chicken?

The key for not exploding is the gas valve, it only allows one direction for the gas to flow. Without it the fire will travel into the barrel and ignite everything and there's your explosion.

We did an extra work and we added the external water generator to stop the pressure caused by gas production inside, and the calculation of the amount of gas inside depends on the water evaporating into the bottle
When the bottle is filled with water, you must empty it to relieve the pressure caused by gas production

I've seen similar videos related to this topic, but it seems yours was an actual controlled experiment where you took measurements along each step of the way as well as you knew how much water you would get when the gas stock is ready. So I have few questions about your experiment:
1. Could you share with us a link or if you used any calculations you made as to find the proportion between water and gas stock you get?
2. Is that water or fertilizer because that liquid at the top was extracted as fertilizer in other systems I've seen in other videos?
3. If that is indeed water, do you know why you actually did get water instead of methane because the inlet of that tube was in the slurry which is producing methane?

O incluso Humus de lombriz? Y otra pregunta: si multiplico x2 los ingredientes en un tambo de 60lts, me daría 3 o 4 meses de gas?? Y.. No funcionaría igual si le pongo excremento de vaca fresco?

Vi un biodigestor en you tube hecho con un envase de 55 galones usando excremento seco mezclado con agua,tenia un drenaje para sacar abono liquido en la parte de abajo y un filtro en la linea de gas para el acido sulfhidrico(produce olor a huevos podridos)hecho con una esponja de fregar metalica. No vi que usaran potasio,sal ni nkp,solo que se tardaba mas en producir el gas

Hi! I just joined your telegram Channel. I have a couple of questions! I already built a Biodigester. It works fine and produces methane. The problem is that it doesn't produce enough. It is a 50 gallon barrel, one of those common ones. It is connected to a tire tub. It inflates the tube about every 2 days and we get enough gas to us in our stove for about 15 minutes to cook. It isn't enough to cook even an egg. i'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong or what additives I can add and what would be the necessary changes to make in order to make it work better. We would like to be able to cook at least one meal at a day. Thanks!
