I only looked in to this process a wee bit, living in a flat was restrictive to such experiments, but if you use a pressure cooker ( crock pot ) to flash cook vegetables, then mash down to smaller bits.. then put this concoction in to .....you're vessel / drum ... You find within two to three days the process of braking down and gas release is greatly enhanced, a bit of sugar and yeast helps.
