There’s a deleted scene where it explains that if A-Train leaves then he will essentially be bankrupt and will no longer own the “A-Train” brand.
It’s played in a jokey way because A-Train has dozens of properties and an island on his bankroll too he could sell and be set. But the idea is if he leaves the seven he does loose everything including his identity.
