Thanks to your review, we stayed there and really enjoyed our stay. It's our favorite hotel now. Sadly, it has been closed for a while now due to renovations but that will make it all the more better when we finally get to go back! Thank you so much for your fun review! 🙂
Stayed at the Candy Cane Inn probably 25 years ago. Enjoyed it back then. I am visiting in January & was so glad to see it was still there. Will book for sure! Thanks for the video, very helpful! 👍
have booked there almost every dapper day! we love it! the bus driver knows who we are and not only do we receive an AP discount but we always receive a $10 off a night for a reoccurring visit! So in reality we save $20 a night! the only "hidden fee if you can call it that is taxes.....the price you see after taxes is the price you pay.......no hidden parking fees......no shuttle fees.....nothing. we've stayed at other hotels and they've charged us an additional $50 for a mini fridge......how unbelievable is that?? highly recommend!!
Staying here in November of 2019! My first time to be at this particular hotel, but every time I am at Disneyland, I am envious of the private shuttle, (which would be really great when by yourself), so I am trying it this trip!
Omg thank you for this video, I always went to disneyworld because it was closer to us but now that my kids are adults we ready to do the 6 hour flight, and this hotel is perfect.
We stayed here for over 15 years but recently have switched due to lack of customer service. I also have TH-cam channel and felt like I couldn't recommend it without bringing it up because a couple of people that went on my recomondatuon had bad experiences as well. Just something to consider. The location and free shuttle are Amazing but the service is just as important.
We love the Candy Cane Inn as well! We stayed there a few years ago and my kids adored being so close to the park and having candy canes in March! Not to mention, you can watch the fireworks in your jammies from the balcony 😉
The Anaheim Marriott also has free breakfast and is about 10 minutes walking distants from the park. I mean its pretty crouded walking from the hotel to the park but its worth it.
My parents and I have basically always stayed here or the occasional on property resorts. But we've been staying their since I was little! Such a nice hotel :) It was kind of funny to because we haven't gone their in about 5 years but the bus driver guy remembered us still lol! Great review & editing too!
+TheStaceySquad we've probably stayed at the Candy Cane Inn more times than at any other Hotel near Disneyland. It has become one of our go-to hotel properties
How do you do the hotel stay with four kiddos. Our 4 kids are the same age as your littles. My youngest, almost two, sleeps alone in her crib so not sure how she would do in a hotel room with her four crazy siblings and parents. Curious how others do it. Do you get two adjoining rooms?
In May of 2017 my wife and I stayed at the Desert Palms Inn and Suit's that right behind the Candy Cane Inn. They did use that ART bus system. We got complementary tickets for it for our full stay there, we however didn't know what the tickets were for at check in, and wasn't sure for the first couple of days and asked then found out. It was a nice feature after a long day if you didn't wan't to walk back. Think it took about 11 minutes for us to walk there. They also have a full breakfast bar with things like breakfast burritos, sausage and eggs bacon, or biscuits and gravy it varies day to day the main course. Then all the same old cereal, waffle maker, donuts bagels etc. Our normal place we try to get it the Best Wester Park place inn and suit's which is literally right across from the entrance, but they were booked. My only complaint when we stared at the hotel we did was they were doing some construction to a convention center across the block and seemed like right at 7 am you would hear jack hammers and construction noises.
I imagine you could even take some extras from the breakfast bar and get snacks out of it with the yogurt, granola, eggs, bagels, etc. especially when you have kids who might get hungry between meals.
What is the cheapest hotel you’ve stayed at very close to Disneyland?? With free breakfast and parking. Normally we stay at the Grand legacy but there prices went up a lot! Plus they don’t do continental breakfast anymore. Just a snack bag. We would like to walk to Disneyland but stay very close and cheap. We are looking to go in July. I know it will be more but it’s ok. Grand legacy was charging $563 for 3 nights and that is not including their parking fee either. We also have annual passes and triple A as well. Thank you!!
Thinking about making a trip to Disneyland May 2018. Anybody have an approximate idea of what it costs to stay/night? It is just my daughter and myself travelling. I would be looking at a 3 night stay.
Hi! I have been following your channel for some weeks and seen many of your videos but I don't know if you have mentioned why are there some many videos about Disney :). And also, you mentioned that your husband and you met through a date website and got engaged 3 weeks after... have you any video telling your story or are you maybe planning one? thanks a lot and love from Spain
We have annual passes and love to go to Disneyland. They say to make videos about things you love, so that is why we make Disney vids. have you seen the husband tag we did a while ago? th-cam.com/video/hngR04iCWcs/w-d-xo.html
My family travels my dad's a pastor so every 4 or 5 months we are out of town stayed at many hotels. I think this looks like any ordinary cheap hotel like quality Inn looks out dated so is the service extremely good or you get discounts?
That it too bad, Was it recently? we have stayed there a few times and have never had any problems. We were actually thinking about staying there on our next trip...

It's fun to see the random Disney videos here and there! I am going in December, so I'm happy to hear about all the different options. :)

+Living Young Country Girl that's too bad. We've never had an issue with customer service in the five or more times we've stayed at the Candy Cane Inn
+Living Young Country Girl I'd love to know more about when/what happened. PM me if you'd like to share 😉
The Family Fudge Sure do you have a FB page where I can?
G'day from Australia, stayed here, loved it
This is kind of silly but THANK YOU for mentioning the exhaust fan! I haaaate when bathrooms without windows don't have one!
We love the Candy Cane Inn as well! We stayed there a few years ago and my kids adored being so close to the park and having candy canes in March! Not to mention, you can watch the fireworks in your jammies from the balcony 😉

Although my favorite Disneyland Hotel, it's really far from a budget and you can get a much better price at other's near DL.
Love the place, can't wait for them to reopen from renovation.
My family and I recently went to Disneyland. We stayed in the Hyatt House.
Great review! Trying to decide where to stay in Anaheim next year, this hotel looks very nice, the howard johnson also looks good too.

Yes, you can even make PB&J sandwiches to take with you for later.
Do they still run the complimentary shuttle? Any updates to the rooms? Asking in May 2022. 😊
I give thumps up cause I am gonna stay their
Hi I love your videos
can you review hotel indigo for your next trip to disney?
I've Sade at the candy can motel probably 100 times in my life and I always loved it.
My family always stay there during our disney vacations. Price wise for every two days there will get you only one day at a disney hotel.
Rigo Zam Thank you for watching our video!

It looks expensive! I stay at the Anaheim majestic gardens and the price is 150 for two queen beds, free shuttle, and two free breakfast buffets
Everytime we stayed it was $120 for 2 queen beds, free shuttle (but we always walked) and free breakfasts for all.
They no longer offer free breakfast or shuttle
Really nice job on your review! Everything looks so nice! I would stay there! #ytmm
+Caras Life on the Farm Thanks, its a pretty good choice i think

The McKnights Thank you for watching our video!
I was looking at this place a few months back, but it is the same price as other hotels in the area.
Ok we are a family of five and you are six. How do you get away with renting just one room??
+Keith Roeser we bring a pack n play sometimes 2

We stayed there and had an awful experience. I think the Candy Cane Inn is a dump.
